I would say the no 1 skill is heal pet, metabolic boost, natures grace, soul transfusion and leech for those that go werefox. Then others can follow.

    Upgrading skills:

    Now:
    Venomous scarab
    Ironwood scarab
    Pet heal
    Metabolic boost
    Natures grace
    Summer sprint
    Wood mastery

    Later:
    Lucky scarab
    Amp damage
    Bramble
    Foxform
    Melee Mastery
    Parasitic Nova
    Noxious gas
    Purge

    Don't bother:
    Blazing scarab
    Frost scarab
    Tame beast
Revive pet (might be useful sometimes, but don't go overboard on this)

Hell Frost Scarab is godly in pvp

Revive Pet level 10 is godly in both pve and pvp

Melee mastery should be in the "Don't bother" section.

Yes, because a poor lvl61 veno needs to worry about which skills are good once you go demon/sage. Or not.

Melee mastery usefulness is dependent on your playstyle and considering it affects quite a lot of your fox skills... yes I wouldn't call it useless; rather level it later when you understand fox skills better.

Revive can be useful, which is what I said in my OP, but only ever becomes useful if you're a bad veno with poor pet mangement.

Don't you have some oracle whoring to do instead of trolling on the forum?

    GTFO back to your oracles.

Or upgrade the skills you use most frequently and if that seems like too many, pick 3-4 to concentrate on until they max out then pick another one. I do that on my cleric since her SP/$$ is limited.
