Lack of New Players?

If you want to know why there are no new players its cause people are sick of click n wait games and are waiting for games like blade & soul and most people rather pay for **** than play games for free.

My friend said "I'm gona start playing ****" I was just no dont omg it's just another crappy click n wait stick to the free crappy click n waits. She didn't care and now she's playing **** lols.

Tbh i played perfect world during CB i loved it at first it was fun flying meeting new people but that's it the grinding bored me out and only thing remaining was talking with friends and such. Then they wiped everything i couldnt find those friends again and i had nothing to stay for.

I'm coming back again to play but not until rising tide is released. Which im sure everyone else is waiting for too. No use starting on an old class when a new one is coming

Can u imagine the lag we would get if we had that constant flow of REAL new starter pple in starter towns, just like 'how it was in the old days'. Thats about 3-4x more pple in any given area including archo. Instead of this thread, there would be a 'restrict the newcomer' thread.

+10 This is why we don't have new players. Although GM's try to regulate the forums, these one are still full of trolls. New people do come to the forums first and read through the threads before they even download the game. A good community helps attract new players. When they see constant complaint threads, people lashing out a GM's, negativity about the game, it deters them to go somewhere else. I came from a game that had pk on the pve server (means even though white named you can be killed or attacked by another player) On that forum you don't see nearly as much back biting, crying, and tantrums. The generation that plays pwi feels like everything should be easy, low priced, and fair. With any f2p those of us who have played for years know this isn't going to happen.

Worst part is the same trolls that pollute the forums pollute the game as well. From griefing others to again filling wc with complaints, harassment, some even slander. These same people say they love the game and want to see it get better. How is that possible if you bring such negativity to it. Not saying that people should not discuss things when they feel they are unjust. However there is a huge difference between discussing and being rude and flaming.

I have not uninstalled pwi, and from time to time come to the game and forums. However, I have become disgusted with the games atmosphere and don't play anymore. Same as my boyfriend, we are two paying customers that won't feed a game that allows such large amounts of trolling. You see all these people have done is chased new players away, along with the old. A bad community won't keep very many players around. Nor will it help solve the games problems, just contribute to it.

How did u know of this game ?

1.i founded it sailing the net in mmo guide

2.i read of it in an article

3.got invited by a friend which plays in it

this is by far the best sources of new incoming player...


the ones that plays it already tell their friends to join to play together...

this will be a lil harder when the older player will still tell to friends to join but then warn'em that is getting worse...

i cant tell any example of getting worse atm, maybe someother canb:chuckle ?

Anyone I've shown PWI has rejected it completely. Two of the most common reasons. One, the poor economy caused by boutique dependency. Two, with holding game features that are obviously profit loss. Gradually I'm growing to agree with them with all the features they are holding back from us out of their greed. Features we will likely never see. I vowed that if Tideborn came out before personal villa's I wouldn't spend another cent on this game. And it most likely will be the case. Not really a threat, just choosing to invest my extra money into better entertainment. b:thanks

Maybe inside Arch but I find there is a growth of excitement over the last month outside of West Arch gates.
