    200k is too much for me. b:cry Bought me a nice cape with the cash I saved up. b:surrender I do however, (somewhat), want to see saitada get a permaban for stealing the cash.

    If I run another lottery I think I will have the buy in lower next time so more people can participate easier.

    The pot might not be as big as this one, or it might get bigger, don't know. I have been considering the idea to run a weekly or bi-weekly lottery. Possibly with more standard lottery rules etc. I'm still thinking it through.

    I'd recommend that. Personally I'd have given it a shot at 100k for the fun of it, but with my current funds and cs and bh wine eating at my cash, 200k is kinda pushing it for me b:surrender

    If I run another lottery, I think the buy in will be somewhere between 25k - 50k with a limit of 10 tickets per character. Rules will probably be somewhat different as I am paying 16,500 coin per tele I use, and 500 coin per response via mail with tickets. It's getting a bit more spendy than I figured (honestly didn't think so many people would want to enter it) lol.

    We shall see though.

    I reckon that this is a good idea, and the fact that it has been discussed with a GM makes it much more fair and no scam.

    I probably won't do it exactly like that if I run another lottery, but I may very well have the pot pay the expenses (i.e. entry fee's pay for the teles and mail fee). Again it just depends on how this goes. So far the Lottery seems to be doing well. Which is encouraging, 'we shall see'.

    For those of you who question my Honesty I have this to say...

    For as long as I have played in PWI, there is not a single soul who can truthfully say I have ever ripped them off. You will find that while there may be many who don't like me because I am an Opinionated SOB, and not afraid to voice my feelings or thoughts about anything, nobody can say I have ripped them off.

    On the contrary you will find that most people that have had dealings with me in the game have generally found me always willing to help where I can. If I can. Time or other activities not with standing.

    Dislike me if you wish. That is your choice. But don't call my Honesty into question when you have nothing to back it up with except your own mistrust of others.

    Some people just can't be convinced to see past the end of their noses. Not much you can do about those save ignore them and/or possibly laugh when hindsight strikes and they start complaining when they realize their hardheadedness caused hem to miss out.

    the list of names and numbers is so people will know who has entered and that the number of entrants matches the pot. Also if I should miss putting someone up that has entered, they can tell me so I can correct the error. Fortunately should someone 'claim' they entered when they really didn't, Spoons can check the log files of my in game mails and confirm or deny as the case may warrant 'should a question of entry arise' . That is another reason for doing it this way. :-)

    As a coin sink if the entrance fee were say 25k coin, of which 15k coin went into the pot and the other 10k just vanished from the game, it would probably be excellent for the casino. Maybe the GM's can pass the idea on to the Dev's.

    Just because if I decided to put my 200 coin into this, I want to make sure that the name is correct when we send the mail we send to saitada, Saitada, or is it SAITADA. I have seen 3 different ways to spell it even in the first post. Please which is it so I send to the right person.

    Hei ~ Great idea, wish I had the coins to participate in this lottery; maybe another time!

    I like the idea of running some kind of special lotteries coinciding with certain events in RL, like this one for Halloween, so maybe a Thanksgiving Lottery, or a New Year's Lottery, and/or also maybe pick some not-so-well-known special days, like the anniversary of Perfect World International, or the anniversary of the first Star Trek episode, or Bill Gates' birthday, lol ~ b:chuckle

    Kudos, Saitada, for coming up with another in-game fun thing to do!

    I remember the Treasure Hunt you ran a while ago, that was lots of fun, too!
