Update Problems?

Last night, I downloaded the manual patch and installed it perfectly fine...I had thought. The game didn't work when I booted it. There was no ping from any of the servers. So today I verified my version and booted again. Still can't connect. No ping from any of the servers. I checked my firewall, I have my antivirus turned off. What do I need to do??? Reinstall the whole game or something b:shocked

Suggestions or a fix please? b:surrender

Use Patch 1 server to connect.

Last night there was problems with Patch 2.

Open the launcher, press "Upd. Stgs." at the bottom left and change it to Patch 1.

I already did the manual patch. So how exactly do I repatch? Because the launcher just has a start button.

I dont mean repatch, i just mean change your Patch server to 1 instead of 2, it might fix the problem.

just do what i said in the above post.

    Run your launcher.

Before pressing the start button press the button that says "Upd.Sets." and change the Patch server from 2 to 1 then confirm and exit the launcher and reopen it.

ok that seems fine because mines bascially the same thing (taking different route of course)

now open the pw launcher and then go to the cmd and type: netstat -n

    Then press the start button

and when you get to the login screen go back to the cmd and type netstat -n again
and then compare the ips to the list of the server ips to see if you are establishing a connection with any of them.

Also, make sure port 29000 is open on your router.

If this is alittle too much :p then you can just submit a ticket to

    Customer Support:

    http://support.perfectworld.com/ticketing

Please note that it can take up to 3-5 business days for a response and do not send multiple requests as this will further delay the process.

    Thx ^^

xD yea i figured :p its ok, you're not expected to know this unless you are studying it or have a job in the business.

Just submit a ticket and/or maybe a GM will post in this thread with another possible solution that i am unaware of ^^

Sending in your ticket to Tech Support vs. Customer Support for Tech issues, will get you a quicker answer because your ticket could take several days to get kicked over to our department.
Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?
