Sage or Demon Archer?!

Hi,

I've currently scrolled through some threads but I coudnt find none, So I'm just on to post it here.

I was seeing what you think an archer should choose? i've looked at the skills elsewhere but just want to opinons and feedback of what you think?.

    If you were to stop at 89 Id say that Sage was better.

    Demon begins to shine with some of the 92 skills, pulls ahead with the 99 skills, and is totally dominant with the 100 skills.

    this is the only skill that matters:
    Archer: lvl 89 Spirit: 1.000.000 (1.096.100) Coin: 1.000.000 (1.123.780)

    Skill: ○Quickshot
    Range: Ranged Attack
    Mana: 135.0
    Channel: 1.0 seconds
    Cast: 0.6 seconds
    Cooldown: 3.0 seconds
    Weapon: Ranged Weapons

    Requisite Cultivation Aware of the Void
    Instantly Fire a powerful shot at the target, inflicting base physical damage plus
    2508.0. Has a chance to increase attack speed.

    Requires 1 arrow, bolt or unit of shot.

    Demon version has a 50% chance to increase attack rate by 30% for 6 seconds.

    arrrg i dunno which server you are in, but i always have the impression that PVE servers dont world pvp and the only pvp you get is TW, so IMHO i would say go sage if you are in PVE since its more useful, otherwise i would go hell just because of quickshot alone

    All the best pvp archers are Sage I believe on this server.


    But the total difference is, I hardly ever die in pvp and I stick around for the fight, they gank me to win mostly. Fail archer? Yeah ummm to fail I must either die alot or not kill alot, I kill easy as can be and die only with more than 1 person on me hell I can survive BigP and his Arma when it hits lol idk how but I do.

    as for the so-called demons that you keep beating, my guess is that they went white at around 89, don't know jack about pvp, demon sparks and hope it dies like a mob or something. thats the problem with a lot of people who go white so late. the pvpers who have experience are mostly g o n e

    If you know what you're doing demon or sage can be the ultimate class, its all depending on if you know what you're doing or not.

    I know what I'm doing. People can sit back and try and say that I don't but those that say it haven't seen me recently, sure in the past I admit I FAILED at it because hell I was low and was just goofing off trying to see what the hell I could do, now I'm dealing massive damage and sage = more chi more chi = I don't die often. That's why I went sage. **** apoth and all that give me my grace and shell and I'm gone like hell. Plus the added stunning time 4.5 sec FTW and silence.

    You seem confused. I think you mean it doesn't matter what culti you choose if your average refine is +10. If you aren't obsessed and have a somewhat decent set of priorities demon is the way to go. You can't say sage is good and that you beat every demon archer when the only reason you win is because you have a higher refine. This is all beside the fact that this game is unbalanced and takes no skill. 1v1 battles are already decided before the two even attack each other unless the classes are evenly matched (good luck). You don't need to use real ingame experience to prove why demon is better. Look at the basics of an archer in pvp. Their strengths are attack speed, high critical and high ranged physical damage. An archers best defense is arguably their attack. It doesn't matter if you can survive 5 more hits than a demon archer because you will probably need to tank atleast 5 more hits just to kill the person.

    Endgame every decent archer stacks attack speed. Using skills that increase your attack speed by a ****load and skills that increase your crit is the only feasible way to play an archer at endgame. I hope you reach 100 and have an epiphany and all of a sudden start to stack attack speed only to realize the best skill for an archer is demon-required. Not to mention this bad patch made it so anyone can have that overpowered skill, making the demon choice that much easier.

    Again, I know why I made my choice there are a few other reasons as to why also I made it, no sense of yall Q_Qing about it since it can't be changed. My choice I'm sticking with it since its forced on me now like the aids.

    Also, here's a few questions to ask yourself when deciding sage or demon:

    1.What defines an Archer?
    2.Why are you an Archer?
    3.What do Archers have that others don't?
    4.How to make an Archer more deadly?

    If you answered crit or attack speed in any of those questions then I think you know which to take.

    To me personally, an Archer is a character who draws their firepower from attack speed and crit. We do not magically gain uber hacks damage at later levels. In fact, our uber hacks damage comes from criticals (and ridiculous refines on bow). Thus it makes sense to 1. increase chances for criticals to happen and 2. increase the frequency in which you fire to trigger more crits i.e fire faster.

    Demon QS is the next scariest thing right after demon spark eruption... for non HAs anyway

    I rest my case on a final note that:

    Sage Archer = not an Archer by definition.

    85-92. No further no lower.

    And PVPers on Sanc are weak already the best mostly did leave because they like to /RAGEQUIT cuz they wasted their lives to get epic.


    And No one person can truly define an archer since archers can be what you yourself think they should be thus its an opinion I didn't build my archer for crit/attack speed, I built myself so that when I hit I hit twice as high when I crit than you would when YOU crit. Your crits are my normals.

    Your normal hits are only double my normal hits because err, you have a +12 broadland?

    if both members had a +12 bow, a demon would do less on normals yes (not by much anyway), but they will crit more and shoot faster. That's the difference.

    btw, could I have a SS of your bow? :D

    I didn't lose my argument :). I just don't feel like showing off that's all. You can be the best archer by going sage or demon its just a matter of playing to your strengths.
