    That's my guess at least. I don't actually know for sure of course, I'm just a random player here. We got asked to make up our own skills, a while later we get genies with loads of skills. Some of which I saw on this very suggestion fourm.

    Well, spoons, I see that you are at least active within this thread, but I was just wondering where you are in finding out an answer...I don't want to seem pushy or overbearing, but it just seems like a forewarning should have been given. It kind of surprised me when I realized that they no longer existed.

    Removing the daily greeting reduces a small amount of lag in West Archosaur during that time.

    It is a very simple way to minutely normalize the traffic in that area. Small bang from a small buck.

    That is my theory.

    There was probably some executive decision to not tell us any longer.

    The messages weren't localized correctly, which is why they seemed to be phrased a bit oddly, so they were removed. Maybe some of this too, but I can't confirm that because it's just my assumption:

    That is something that I cannot confirm, since it's not really a huge deal it may not be anything that is being worked on currently, right now our devs are fixing bugs and working on *cough* other cool stuff.

    I didn't often see the announcements (very early for me) but when I did, they made me giggle. I did enjoy them, but their lack won't preclude me from the game.

    Nice of you to look into it Spoons, don't pay any mind to those who are trying to manhandle you :).

    While we're somewhat close to the subject, comprehensive patch notes would be very welcome. There are lots of things like localisations, skill descriptions and effects, and probably optimisations etc that get changed without mention in the patch notes. Sure sometimes it gets mentioned right at the bottom, but its very variable, and theres usually a "Various other localization changes have been made" type message as well which is just unhelpful.

    I mean, do the GMs even know when these new day messages were removed? Cause none of us do, its not in the notes. And if the devs dont keep an accurate and complete changelog, well, actually that could explain a lot.

    It would be useful information for players and would show that PWE is actually doing more than is evident at the moment. Its pretty standard fare, I dont see why it cannot or should not be done.

    I manhandle spoons all the time, even if I can't "embrace" on the forums b:sad

    And get the devs to bring back "Mornings are vital", that was the best part of my day.
    Bladestorm lets you spin around like a carnival ride and do damage. Not using it is almost like having a move called Confetti Rocket Power Leap and saving it for "emergencies"
