Misti, your still making the same mistake. You keep assuming everyone is adding their flight speed to their walk speed. Nobody is saying this. They are saying there is a 5m/s all-class base speed in every aerogear. This means that a +2m/s aerogear would move at 7m/s. The +#m/s value on every aerogear is not the speed it moves, but rather the speed that is added to this 5m/s base value. This is why the values state they are '+' values. If they were the base value, there would not be a + in front of them.
Here's an example that shows this very well. When an elf first starts, the Natural Elven Wings they get (with no flight mastery, remember, this is level 1),say they get a flight speed of +0m/s. But, as you no doubt know, newb elves do NOT move that slowly in flight. If this was the case, it would take hours to fly from any city in the general area around Plume, which it does not. But, archers and clerics, which have different land movement speeds (at least, that's what it sounds like to me. Never played both, so this needs to be checked by someone who has), fly at the same speed. This speed they move should be exactly 5m/s. Try it out and see for yourself.
Hope this helps end this argument.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Where is the 5m/s coming from the hasted speed?Let this person answer this.Looking for a decent casual understanding Faction.0 -

sigh... i was hoping you'd fully understand it by now...
so what don't you understand?
it's clearly stated that ALL classes have a base flying speed of 5m/s, simple as that, aerogear simply adds to this base speed0
