    ahemm... RAEGbear speaking, weird how the almost all the posters here are from carebear servers(omg i said it again, wearing metal pantsb:shocked)

    don't just sit in the forum all day.... hurry and make a toon in a pvp server,you don't know what you are missing, and gimme ur ign i'll send a welcome gift basket and wait (for u to get lv30)b:dirty

    I'm a carebear for the most part, I kill red names. Sometimes I get urges when someones mouthing me off, or ksing.

    I don't care how old or young you are, how small your **** is, how much of a nerd irl you are or how depressed you are that you never will get laid. There is no reason to act like an A-hole to everyone on an mmorpg. Its a shame that I have to take time out of my day to tell people "stop being an A-hole". So I end with this, if your acting like an A-hole, and some one tells you your being an A-hole chances are your being an A-hole.

    Did anything interesting happen after page 10? I got bored there since the same thing was being said over and over and the same points were being responded to multiple times.

    "carebear" isn't an insult unless you take it as one.
    And players on PvE servers can be noobs too, so that's an invalid name.

    Bladestorm lets you spin around like a carnival ride and do damage. Not using it is almost like having a move called Confetti Rocket Power Leap and saving it for "emergencies"

    Here is my reasoning for saying what I said in my last post.

    In the pk servers, you can fight other players at anytime you want. Given the chance to pvp you may just say "Nah we can do that anytime lets do it later"

    In the PvE servers, its harder to do, so when you get the chance to fight other players, you do it as much as you possibly can in that time period when you can do it.

    In general, people tend to try to do more often, what they are normally not able to do.

    I am not sure that this is true, because it assumes that the person actually WANTS to engage in some activity and has either more or less chance to engage in it. Since pvp servers are advertised as more opportunity to pvp, it is very likely that the people attracted to such servers will want to engage in the activity at a higher rate than the people who enter the pve servers.

    It all depends on the activity. People do not often have a chance to jump off the Empire State Building, but that does not mean they want to try it more often because they have fewer opportunities to do it. It is likely that many people on pve servers will not want to engage in the activity at all (I even know some people on the LC server who refuse to engage in pvp, but then they would have preferred a pve server, they only came to a pvp server because of friends).

    It may be true that people are more inclined to do an activity because there are few chances, but that does not mean that every activity will be done more often because it is rarer. I think that it is fair to say that pvp happens more often on a pvp server. The ganking that occurs easily leads to more people from each side coming until it is a full scale war. This can occur on the pve server as well, but the prevalence of ganking and pvp activity leads to more fights among high/equal lvls.

    I think that generally people will want to engage in pvp more, and are drawn to pvp servers, due to their personalities, that is, people who like to pvp will be attracted to a pvp server.
