    well the two melee classes are bm and barb. one of two things will happen:

    1. tie
    2. barb wins

    calling all barbs to support me on this.
    One corn to rule them all and in the darkness cream them

    using the dragon before thunderstorm against a decent barb will probably don't work most of the times... when we see the dragon aoe we just activate solid shield and save our asses

    also BMs without the physical marrow (cuz if they dare to use it they get thunderstormed) are such a joke compared to before the genies era b:pleased

    whats even more insane is barbs have over 20k hp and over 10k phys defense with refined gear. then they have charms.

    Actually it depends on many factors...
    And most of the time it will simply be charm burn, or decided by a **** lucky crit. This on a bm vs barb pvping... But actually that's an irrelevant battle, and if we talk on bm vs other classes or barb vs other classes, well i'd also say it's a close tie.
    Barbs have huge HP, bms have better def(physical and magical marrows), which in the end makes a good bm or barb, hard to kill for almost everyone(cut out venos with nix out of that, either way, they kill almost any classes till 90+)
    I'd say it's close between each other.

    i have pics of me pwning BMs as an archer, and I myself have NEVER killed a barb, I have tried, but they ran from me kiting them.

    Rofl... You're talking about lowbie pking, so yeah, no wonder you've pwned. b:laugh
    First, i doubt that bm would have more then 3k HP, so, 2 good crits would make him go down. Then most lowbies don't use a charm so he wouldn't be able to get close before getting killed. Then, unless it was a dex build bm, he wouldn't have enough acc to hit you, so why bother?
    Now, 8x-9x pvp doesn't work like that... Actually bms and barbs are the classes archers have most trouble to pk, cause of high HP and in case of bms, stuns.
    To tell you the truth, with cleric buffs, i have 10k pdef and 4k mdef... with barb buffs i have 7.3k HP... With charm and buffs 8x archers can't kill me :)
    At 9x archers are nasty, with demonic eruption... But before that, at same lvl, it will be hard to kill a decent bm/barb, so i say, it's still close between barbs and bms.

    When i finnaly get to the good pk lvls (60+??) i wuld still never kill a barb or a cleric for that matter... why?? because i think its useless to kill the two most important classes in the game. even if they kill me i wont kill them..i have respect for those two classes...

    barbs will win if they use the pvp build or tank build the only time a bar lose is at low lvls or they didnt use a build and put point randomly. there a reason ppl say barbs or wiz r the best pvps duh

    you can just use TOP and have max HP again, and also we got invoke and beastial rage to get back the chi :D

    Venos can melee too, I mean the fox skill tree is specifically for melee damage (based on STR) even though you still use a magic weapon. I may only have around 2k P.attack but my P.def is 20k fully buffed (heavy armour) and 13k unbuffed.

    I'm only a hybrid between mage and melee though, I saw one venomancer's build who was a pure battle fox level 90+. Had 20k P.def with 7k P.attack unbuffed


    Combine that with a phoenix and let the Q____Q Begin :V

    Half Arcane half Heavy Armor is the way to go for Venomancer lv90+.

    This one half heavy half arcane venomancer in Lost City who is lv101 has more Pdef in foxform than lv90+ Barbarian, has more magic defense than barbarian, has 11-12k HP and has a nix. Run or fight?

    Over 10k phys def?!?! oh no! oh wait i have 10k phys def right now.
    Barb vs. BM is the most pointless fight ever. The only way one side would win is if they got really lucky crit/zerk, or if the other side completely sucked at their class.
    Both sides have no good killing moves against HA. Perdition does **** damage against BMs, and so does any BM move against Barbs. Barbs don't have a debuff, so Thunderstorm isn't gonna kill the bm, and most of the time Dragon+Thunderstorm won't kill the barb either.
    btw lvl 100 vit build barb with all equips +8, sharded with immaculate citrines has around 16k hp self buffed. Of course every single 90+ barb has 20k hp like you say, because everybody has enough money to +12 all their equips.

    Once again barb vs. bm, PWI wins! They get more money when both the barb and bm have to go and buy new charms
