A Few Things Everyone Should Take Into Consideration

over the past few moths, ive noticed a severe decline in the decency of players on Perfect World. heres a few things im askng every1 to keep in mind
1) dont be an ******* and kill a mob some1 else is already fighting. if u c some1 else fighting what u have targeted, cancel ur attack as soon as u can. if ur too late do not attack further and be decent enough 2 apologize and say u didnt hit esc in time.
2)if u hear some1 calling for help, ask them wut they need help with. do everything in ur power to help others. u'll feel good about it and it will make this game much easier and pleasant for every1.
3)dont make fun of ppl for being new to the game. calling one person a noob is like calling everyone in the game a noob. everyone in this game was in that position once. b4 u call some1 a noob, think about how u felt wen u were new, knew nothing about the game and just wanted a kind hand to extend out to u and help u.
4)do not trick new ppl into dueling u. i have met several ppl in this game that challenge new ppl(lvls 1-5) saying that theyr a low lvl wen theyr not. dont do that. its cruel and pathetic. if u challenge some1 to a duel, make sure that they have a fighting chance. otherwise its not a duel, its bullying. dont pick on the weak, becuz that makes u weak.
5) ive seen this one far too many times. I understand if ur trying to sell something, but dont do this. many ppl, especially in Archosaur will say the same thing over and over every second bypassing the 6 second rule. they do this by changing the message a bit like so

Don't do that. the 6 second rule was implemented because repeating messages negatively affects other players who are trying to chat with ther friends. keep ur business ads to the world chat and trade chat. if u cant use either of those, keep ur ads to 1 every minute. if some1 is looking to buy, they will be paying attention to ads on the chat, so no need to repeat messages like that.
6) ther is a purpose 4 each species and class having abilities that others do not. that purpose is the hope that everyone will get along better. the clerics have a duty; to revive any dead players they might come across. the venos have pets so they can help others finish quests quickly. the barbs become tigers so that the girls have a fast ride should they need it, like a free mount. winged elves can fly early on so that girls can get to where they need to at low lvls. every1 needs to lend these powers to those who dont have them

I have been wondering what the use of barbs was.... Now I know. Just need to go tame me one, they are prettier than the panther anyway.Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. spurred kirin over riding a barb anyday. Kirins dont die and they actually listen to where you want to go.I was early taught to work as well as play,

although i do agree with most of your views... i can't help but feel that your "demanding" us to do these things in the way you put it, which frankly... is bit ill-mannered
they don't have to if they don't want to... but definitely be thankful that they dothe clerics have a duty; to revive any dead players they might come across.

But kitties are better at getting aggro back if something does attack and you get tossed from mount.....
And they can tank better

2) I would, but whatever is killing them usually kills them before I get a response, and usually has those really nifty name boxes with an angry face with red eyes. b:shocked
3) If I'm calling someone a noob, it isn't a compliment, and it isn't because they are new.

b:angry never any love for the humans. Just because the WE's have been around longer and the UT are furries. If you don't like the way other ppl are playing then don't play yourself. Clerics only "duty" is to play how they want (not to revive everyone they see.)
I think it's everyone's duty to annoy all the people they can. If you don't like it...don't play.

Am I the only one who thinks that there's a hint of "I'm a female and I deserve to be treated like a queen" in the post saying that the only purpose of barbs AND elves is to help the female characters get to places?If you disregard what I say because of who I am or because of the contents of what I said, you are a fool.

1) if i need the mob and its at full hp, i'll go for it. i don't give a c*** if you targeted it before me.
2) hmmm... there is 20 or so people asking for help, and 19 of them are asking for help with a regular quest mob. i know... i'll ignore them all. and i fail to see how flying across the map to help some guy kill a mob will make me feel better. that just waste my time and make me feel worse cause i just wasted my time.

4) wtf are duels anyways. if you want to fight me... go white name. or else shut up and let me do my thing.

6) they'll play the game how they want. no one in the game need to do anything in or out of their way to help you. so don't go around expecting help just cause you asked.0 -

But seriously on topic, I completely understand the OPs concerns, unfortunately we can't expect everyone in an mmo to be nice. The rule of thumb is usually if you can take advantage of something then do it. It really sucks when you end up being the one taken advantage of, the only real way to fight this is to be extra cautious

well, after reading all the replies, almost all of you have demonstrated my point perfectly.
I'm not saying WE and barbs only purpose is transportation, i'm just saying thats one of the duties that come with being able to transform into a fast white tiger and being able to fly early on.
I'm not demanding these things, otherwise i'd be a hypocrite. being an **** doesnt give me the right to ask these things. but doing these things does, which i do. i'm one of the very few decent ppl in this game, which is very unfortunate
I know i cant expect everyone to be nice, i just think if some ppl would do the things i said in my post, Perfect World would fit its name a little more than it does now. i will continue to play this game becuz i luv this game and that ppl need a light in the dark world that ppl like most of u that have posted in my thread have made it to be0 -

Not everybody plays on, say, a top-of-the-line gaming rig. If you put settings on minimum to be able to play and dont' see others targeting, you have no obligation to listen to people QQing because you hit "their mob." Also, if your'e running a macro and chatting at the same time, this doesn't apply. Also, this flips to the other side. If I'm a wizard and I'm channeling a spell and somebody else hits it before my spell channels, I have absolutely no obligation to cancel and ****. If you can kill it before I do, all the power to you. If you can't, stop QQing and fight another mob.

Does not apply in almost every situation. You're not obligated to help ANYBODY, especially when you are doing something important and don't want to be interrupted.

Duels don't do ****. Lower levels most likely don't have charms and even if they do, the tick after the duel ends won't do anything to it.

Incorrect. As stated before, nobody has an obligation to help anybody. Clerics do not have to revive everybody they see. Venos do NOT have pets to help others with quests. Saying so is ridiculous. Barbs and elves are not there simply to provide rides for girls. Before level 30 when you get your own mount, there is NOWHERE that requires a mount to get to (Ladywraith being an exception).

What I can see is just some random person being bored and ranting. What you're saying here is basically trying to change human nature, which is a futile cause and thus not really worth pursuing. Furthermore, you are assuming many premises which are simply not true to support your statement, which constitutes a major LOGIC FAIL.

if u cant deal with illiteracy on the internet, then u obviously dont deserve any type of network connection, whether it be dial-up or high speed internet u get from ur cable company
also, the stuff i asked is simply human decency like they ask of u in the Bible or any other religous book. if i was trying to change human nature, then u just undermined the Christian, Jewish, Hindu, ect religion. may God or wutever u worship have mercy on ur soul XD0 -
I always make a point of casting my lvl1 revive and lvl1 buffs without asking if they want them b:laugh No need to thank me, I do it cause I care...0

Um....no. Playing taxi service isn't a duty of either the barbarians or the male winged elves. A duty isn't something that is completely optional, and that happens to be something that is completely optional, and therefore is not a duty.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Did you every actually READ the plot? It's not called Perfect World because it is one now (duh). It was one and we are working toward ridding ourselves of the wraiths so it can be one again. Of course then everyone's definition of a "Perfect World" is different now isn't it? Hence all the fighting.Spoons you will forever be missed in this community0
