Since day one there is something every class can expend their gold into to make yourself more powerful: dragon orbs

Just to +5 one piece of gear you will need a total of 100 orbs. If you have 8 pieces of equiment to refine (helmet, chest, leggings, footwear, wrist guards, cape, necklace and belt) you would need 800 dragon orbs. Those 800 orbs are 216 gold.

key word... EVERY CLASS. can every class buy a nix or herc? no. theres only a single class specific item in cash shop that enhances only a single classes gameplay.

The skill is there, and it is intended as the veno's PvP pet skill. It would be a fail to not use the skill just as it would be a fail to not use items available at your disposal to counteract the skill.


Consider this: in wow there is a PvP trinket that gets you out of any stun once every 3 or 5 minutes (it's been awhile). Now, you could complain that since the trinket's CD is x minutes long that some other player can come along and stun you, and you're SoL, or that the same player could stun you again, and you'd be SoL, but everyone else would tell you to "man up, get the trinket, and L2P." And that trinket was pretty much a must have if you wanted to survive PvP against any class that could stun/freeze/immobilize you.

While the games are different, the concept is pretty much the same.

1. Before flying was allowed in TW what was the pet of choice for venos and why? Kowlin and why was that? Yes thats why it was fast had a highish damage and Flesh Ream. Now before you go getting that bikini in a knot answer this what venos doing before Flesh Ream in TW? Thats the same thing it was always there, as we've said it was " fixed " and returned to how it is now. You know why. The DEVS found that venos were gimped in PvP. NOTICE THE BOLD UNDERLINED PART.

2. Yet PvP is still the same regardless of what game you're playing.

Ofcourse they can but your missing the biggest point.

This is with having the same level, equipment , etc etc etc.

1. veno with out nix compared to other classes = severly gimped. Still far less damage compared to any other class out there.

venos arent gimped, venos do nice damage without pets... ive been crit for 21k by a veno before, learn 2 play ur class and stop qqing about your damage.

Of course there's no need to discuss whether it is a bug or not, the GM Xarfox confirmed it ages ago.

I personally don't view being stun-locked(pounce), bled(flesh-ream) and purged(purge) at the same time as 'balanced', especially when the bleed deals 1.2k per tick from a veno my level.

There are veno's out there who have no trouble PvPing without a nix, even without fleshream.

So correction, people who suck at games had to buy a pet from the boutique to feel as if they could play.

Seriously Mia, you must really suck. Veno's are the only class(so far as I know) who have an entire skill tree dedicated to PvP.

Also another error in your post,

You posted while I was writing so, usually the BM isn't flying at over 10m/s towards me ready to stun and 4k over around 3 seconds whilst removing whatever barriers I had up. See, other classes have balances and limits.

Also why bother writing it 'bug'(implying it was intended) when it's already been confirmed as a known bug. Lets see, my apoth pots have a 2 minute cooldown if I use one quick enough I'll survive the opening ream, regular pots heal enough to keep me alive but only for what? a fraction of a second.

The entire fox-form tree(you know, skills linked by arrows) is geared towards PvP(Debuffs, amps, both physical and magical defence). Or were you expecting something completely overpowered there as well, perhaps you were expecting to be able to spam all these skill too so you can avoid using you brain here?

Also, you have pets that can tank 90% of the bosses in the game and you go on to QQ about not being a massive damage dealer too. Seriously learn what we mean by 'overpowered' and 'balance' before your next post.

On there own they arent underpowered but when you compare to the other classes they are, They do less damage.

We are talking about comparing to what other classes do.

veno and pet compare the damage it does vs a cleric = cleric wins
veno and pet " " vs a mage = mage wins
and so on.

The only exception to that are certain barb builds.

But if your claiming that veno is doing more damge than any of those classes I'd like to know the hacks your using. As this is straight out damage we are talking about.

barbs do less damage than bms, we arent underpowered.

clerics and veno's damage is about the same, except for tempest.

ofc mages are hitting highest, they have longest channel and cast times.

If you go for straight out damage, yeah. Venos don't hit as hard. Never will. That's why we have Amp. As well as other pets besides Nix that have Debuffs. Howl increases the Mag Damage you do, Pierce increases the Phys Damage you do, Threaten decreases the Phys Damage THEY do... I play my Veno not to Blast everything out of the way, but to survive it. Mist stops my Melee foes from hitting me, Fox Wallop makes my caster foes have crappy casting times, and Leech gives me back my HP. Tell me how THAT'S underpowered.

There's people out there who say wizards are underpowered, do they mean in terms of damage, no.

You should try reading Isala's posts, thats how the veno was designed to PvP. All other classes(and some veno's) are out there adapting their skills to the situation at hand, but you seem content in pressing Alt+1 and then b!tching about other classes being hitting harder than you.
