Don't mind Forp. If he spent half as much time leveling as he spent on this forum he wouldn't still be lvl83 on PvE server but would actually be 90 by now. Then he would understand that the ownage 90 gear gives you far, far more options in terms of survivability/damage to restat.

I am a pure vit cleric. I don't even have the base stats to wear wraith conqueror, (270 int, 49 str). Instead I have mystic tomes that give me 13 points to restat, (hello 130 hp), hh90 sleeves that give me 7 magic points to restat (70 hp), sky demons pearl that gives me 8 str to restat (80 hp)...

I have a +5 set right now, (6.5k hp) but when I +6 everything, and at 96 with the cape of elite leather I'll have 7k unbuffed hp.

I am purely sharded HP. Socketting pdef is utterly pointless. We have plume shell, thats all the pdef you ever need. Socketting pdef gives EPs 3%~ more reduction than socketting hp. We are not wizards who can get earth barrier (100% at lvl 10, or 120% and 150% at lvl 11), and two pdef buffs (120%). To compensate we have the best defensive skill in the game. Combine plume shell with guardian light and you should never ever have problems in PvP due to physical classes.

When plume shell dies, pop an apothecary, throw on guardian light, triple spark, drop, genie skill... there are so many options, and with over 6k hp it is very easy to tank for 10 seconds.

I love my HP. There have been so many times where if I had less hp, a stunshot -> hell/heaven take aim crit would bypass heiro and just kill me.

Yoshiki's +12 bow hit me with a take aim for 6k crit. I throw on plume shell and I can successfully tank a +12 bow for 20 seconds.

Usually there are only two things that kill me. Magic, and bypassing heiros.
For example, mighty swing stuns, then a wb tree of protection amp perditions you, and crits for 10k. pdef shards aren't going to save you there. of course sometimes you are going to get caught with plume shell off or on cooldown, but the better player you are, the less it happens. I believe hp is indefinitely better than pdef shards for EPs... for the simple fact we have plume shell.

Onward to light armour...
Light armour is really good until 90, since the molders are very cheap and very good. 78 top, 69 pants, 78 wrists, along with heavy helms provide an immense amount of bonuses to vit and pdef. Robes are good too, but its a pain to find good ones, and all the molders suck ****. As light armour, I'd use both elemental adorns and refined rings for the lost mdef. Plume shell is still vital as LA, it just means you won't get one shot by archer crits, since archers are ridiculously overpowered vs robies in those stages of the game.

The mdef lost from arcane -> LA in those stages is no more than 7-8% since EPs are always mdef buffed. Not to mention LA gives a lot more HP when refined.

But at 90, robes FINALLY start to have amazing mods. We get so much HP from the hh90 robe set, that anything other then robes is just idiotic. At 90, mages start to get an assload of damage. Everyone says this, mages are **** until 90, but at 90, they become devastating. Mdef is so important, I can't stress enough. LA classes get crit for 10k+ to an undined water dragon.

Stating VIT to the point you cannot even equip Wraith Conquerer is a bit overdoing it methinks >.> At least not braggable. Cleric Pdef and HP are like PC parts. You can't run it at max efficiency if the parts are not balanced with each other.

actually nvm, your on a PvP server with diff. circumstances. Survivability is good but it must be hell for you grinding.
