zoe lies constantly, and i wouldn't put it past him to lie about that since it's out of the picture. besides, i know his **** weapon can't hit that without something to boost his damage.

Look at the debuffs on the monster. Dragon is not there. Try again.b:bye

Edit: got beat to saying that. Just look closely at the pic, that was taken AS I hit the monster for that. You can still see my spell effect and the damage numbers on the monster itself. If there was amp/curse on the boss, it would be visible.

doubt the gms can do anything about it, they are the middle men...they relay the message to the developers. and i doubt the developers would bother to encode something just to fix ur mistake.

I find that hard to believe ... given that the second damage figure is still in the SS ... damage figures above mobs last next to no time and that figure is the last of 3 figures ...

also, ive seen clerics with sage plume + spark pull off 50-60ks on the wood boss with just ironwood debuffing, and using a req blade, even seen a 163k crit with amp and HF , that was sexy. its not impossible. its just more likely on noobier monsters with their lower resists

even if the amp is off of the boss, if you channel the skill fully before lanuching, the icon of the amp will dissapear but you'll still be hitting an increased amount of damage. combined +55% damage and +700% magic attack and you have quite a high number, no matter who you are.

you can't disprove my theory, nor can you prove your assumed none-amped attack. i know you didn't hit it without an amp, but w/e. the forums is use to you lying your **** off.

oh, and your veno amp is on cooldown. +20% damage thing. it just ended as the picture was taken. not even more than 2 seconds before the picture was taken. funny, right? non amped? :S

It is indeed on cooldown however the effect had already worn off its plain easy to see that. Others know the damage is possible and have said so. You've just been shot down again so just shut up and get lost.

anyways. i've used that amp time and time again, mine being maxed, and i know yours is too. the amp just ended. any veno here with that curse knows damn well when the curse wares off on the cooldown.

and as i've previously stated, even if the icon is gone, the effect is still there afterwards. you had enough time to do this damage twice in a 13 second timeframe. given that time, i know you hit the first hit amped. no matter what. you can't deny that. so the 2nd is just magically the same damage? you're quite the character zoe b:bye

It's called a sage veno spark from a player that actually knows how to play. When I want to boost my damage, I don't need amps. I try to keep my damage low intentionally but still am able to steal agro from my herc and even barbs. Try again.

FB 89 boss Ninetails. Level 90 Barbarian said no one would be able to get agro from him. Spammed his agro skills to make sure of it. What did I do? Simple spark and I died right after due to stealing agro.

wrong, its 43k and 47k, try again. the amp only lasts 20s, once the pic is gone, it doesnt work. you keep trying to change your argument, first bad translation, then dragon, then amp, where are you throwing these random factors in? just give up already

I don't need to show how I do things you have to figure out how to get better on your own. Just deal with the fact that I do them (like the pic) and figure out how I do it.

If you know that you'd do that much damage and you were in the middle of a boss fight, why the hell would you bother to spark anyway? Don't know about you but boss fight, perhaps not the best place to prove a point. Barb could use the spark more effectively than you anyway, assuming you want to stay alive. Just because you can doesn't mean it's smart, and enlarging your e-genitalia at the possible expense of your party sounds to me like a few crayons short of a box. b:surrender

actually, i never changed my statement. the spark is translated wrong. it wasn't even right in my en, many have regretted choosing holy simply for it.

however, i assumed it was a dragon amp due to the level 84 warrior in the party. it seemed logical that they would use it to speed up a boss. however, i noticed the amp on cooldown, and right at the point in the cooldown that the icon for it dissapears. convenient.

and 5k different would be from switching from one skill to the other. notice that he has both holy venomous scarab and ironwood scarab. ironwood being used second would mean the lesser damage came from a weaker attack.

what is that supposed to prove zoe? that you can hit very high? the question is still how much demon/sage spark adds to a nuke, forp believes its 700% for sage and demon, and you believe otherwise. get a screenie of a demon veno of same lvl's venomous too?

Zoe is correct that if any amp effect drops before the spell finishes casting, the spell doesn't get amped. However, if the spell finishes casting at the same time the amp effect ends, it will be amped meaning it doesn't status for damage when the spell hits, but when it finishes casting.


Only thing that is odd...with amp damage being a 30 sec CD, and 20 sec effect at level 10, why is it not still on the mob at ~18.6 seconds into the CD of the effect?

Well, this thread isn't even about the OP anymore...but that's what I'm replying to.


I don't quite understand how you could make the mistake. You gotta read the quests are you get them...don't ever just click OK OK OK OK or whatever.

Basically, when you're choosing Demon or Sage it says "Are you sure you want to be a Sage?" "Okay, for real now...You are about to become a SAGE. Is this what you want?" "You are picking SAGE right?"

Not in those words...but that's basically what it says.


I have no idea how you could go back and change it. Someone said spirit culti can't be trashed. pwdatabase says that it can't be given up. Your only option is to submit a ticket.

I hope they can help you...and if not, try to make the best of it. I'm sorry...I know sage/demon is something you plan for (and buy your skills ahead of time like you did).

Just remember...some quests like Darkness Tower vs Veiled Tower and sage/demon, etc...you pick one or the other. Always read your quests when you pick 'em up!

I'm not sure if my amp was maxed at that point or not. I didn't max all my skills until level 91 and I was 90 in that pic. Plus I guess none of you have played enough to realize that some bosses cure themselves of debuffs, making them last much shorter than the normal duration. I've had my maxed blazing last for only 10 seconds for example.

Shows how little you know Forp. I make great use of the fox skills in pve and pvp. All of them. Does not matter that I use arcane. If I get a monster on me I go fox, then quickly befuddle and leech. I don't die that way, arcane or not.

Monsters like to try and kite? Stunning blow to freeze them in place. Works on players as well. They can't run away but they can still hit you back, and them being able to hit me back is very important.

Just accept the fact that I do what I say I do, and figure out how I do it. You will be simply amazed at how much better you'll become at the game.
