    No offense, but a barbarian has to be REALLY bad to suffer more dmg from berserk than the person he zerks on, be it heavy, light, or robe...The only exception is if you were severely outleveled. Then the damage mitigation would kick in.

    you ever seen the defense on a fully buffed barb/heavy veno? its freaking high... well ofc u have. and especially a fully buffed bm with alter marrow physical.

    Devour/Penetrate armor, and my berserked shot on another barb of the same level should be well over 1000 damage, using only +4 calamities. If 1000 damage is not enough to be more than 5% of your HP, well...It's probably time to start refining the Calamities so it matches your +ed armor b:laugh

    But truth be told, you're probably not being very smart if you're going to try taking down a fully buffed Barb or heavy veno anyways.

    i usually dont back down from pk,(1v1) even if its a losing battle, i will however book it if im outnumbered and i know i cant win, ask enrage , they know alll about it :)

    there's a reason why most 9x use calamites until their GX.
    how many 9x do you see using 80 gold axes while waiting for their GX?

    Funny. The only 9x I see using the 80 gold axes is Schooled, and he's a Barb and put 2 Flawless HP shards in his weapon. b:laugh

    And you might consider XS users as failures, but keep in mind many of them having been playing for wayyy longer than you have b:bye

    hmmm ive been playing since CB and played my for a couple months waiting for PWI to come out. XS is useless for PK at 85+, might as well get nicely +'d thunderdeath, way more DPS

    XS isn't useless. The berserker spike is still better than what most weapons have to offer, and I'd much rather super + a weapon I could sell or pass down to someone, rather than + a weapon that's going to be stuck on me forever. (GX and HH99 gold are the only exceptions, as that's pretty much endgame gear.)

    berserk spike is better than most, NOT thunderdeath.

    i agree Arravis.

    To forsaken:
    i've played in MY for 1.5yrs as a wr, played in LC as a barb, and now i play as an archer.
    XS is the weapon you want before you get GX. the 80 gold is not comparable at all to XS, again, pk is all about spike damage, and the xs does just that.
    If you still think 80 gold is better, go against a character with same class and level but with xs. GG

    i have no problem 1v1, against any class other than a barb and well geared bms. pvp is not about spike damage at all. people who really on luck need spike damage.

    Tell me how you kill high level people with high hp and charms or even ones that use apoth/genie. I've seen the PK barbs thread, you don't really say anything worth reading there.

    very easy, i deal steady, high damage to higher levels. most robies with HH90 gear,all update phys. resis. accesories, for 1.2k-1.5k per hit , non crit. LA is more 900-1.2k more than enough to take out fairly geared players (+5-+6). even with 10% crit rate, i dont crit nearly enough to hope for a lucky crit to determine if i can take out an opponent.now, im not saying GX is useless, not by far, its got extremely nice adds, vit and phys att. at endgame, id say GX is by far the best weapon for barbs, but calamities simply dont cut it for me. only thing id replace GX with is Lunar 100 berserk axes. which are neigh near impossible to get atm in this server.
