for pet tanking - two venos, cant recommend pets because my veno is too low still, but ranged sounds interesting. magmite - i know doesnt really work, thats how i found cleric is a good qingzi tank b:shocked
for player tanking - two clerics.
and yes, any arcane can tank qingzi np with proper heals. his ranged attack isnt very strong, and for sure slower than melee.

on alts - sure. you know game well and can use skills to their max. on mains - at 30 you are still learning how to play, and there is much higher chance you will misclick or run into something or, well, anything. so id really recommend 2 healers, just to be safe.

OK, you should let someone tank and cleric heals If u have cleric with u. Did on lvl 32 on cleric with< lvl 40 psy tanking AND with 3x barb tanking, both uncharmed, I was the only cleric, Without problems. It's not that hard :P

To answer the question about Psychics tanking Qingzi with White Voodoo. It is entirely possible, I have done it twice.

I did it after I had finished with bh29 and had just moved up to bh39, and was helping a friend. So, high level 40's to low 50's was when I did it.

Idea was to just toss a spell in every now and then and to try to not take aggro. This was before the patch to fix the psychic came out, so naturally Qingzi ran straight for me. I had a cleric with me that time, second time I was basically solo'ing the thing to help out a level 29 friend's alt, and we couldn't find anyone to help. Being the crazy **** I am we ran in.

White Voodoo, Torrent, Sand Trap, Soulburn, Bubble of Life. Toss in an Aqua Impact or Spirit Blast in between. Trick is to bring a metric assload of mana and health pots. I burned through 50 of each or so keeping myself alive.

I haven't since gone in with the level 59 skills, I imagine it being a hell of a lot easier with Red Tide and Earth Vector.

I did this tanking in meele with no charm at lvl33, and can say for sure that Qingzi can be duo'd by early 30's cleric and barb if both are properly equipped, though it can take a quite long time (20-25 minutes) due to the damage reduction penalty of tiger form. With a couple of DD's it should take no more than 4-5 minutes.

The KEY/SECRET you ask about is that the barb MUST cancel at least one out every two of Qingzi's magical attacks for the cleric to be able to provide enough healing. That means the barb MUST have alacrity of the beast skill even if it's lvl1. Also, armor is way more important than weapon for the tank and it should be at least the lvl30 rank armor if not true 3* leggins and/or the heavy plate mold available for that level.

Regarding the cleric, he/she MUST heal a lot per skill use. This requires for an arcane/vit build, iron heart blessing to be as high as possible for the character's level, and a really good weapon since it contributes to the extra % of healing of the skill.

Finally, get 2-3 life powders (+50 hp/sec, +12.5 actually during combat) for the barb and 2-3 focus powders for the cleric (always +50 mp/sec since he/she is considered out of combat while only healing) . Use them and none will need extra pots unless the canceling frequency mentioned earlier can not be kept. Just don't forget each last ten minutes and do not stack so both should get a timer set to 9min 30sec to know when to use another one.

I can't think of any further advise except that you GO FOR IT!!! It feels really good to be able to do what most people say/think/believe can not be done.

What Ravira and Foxx says is good advice.

Barbs at 4x have Okay-ish armor for Qingzi. Still, unless they have fantastic gear, I don't like cleric'ing for 4x barbs unless there's another cleric. Barbs are also up close and personal with Qingzi. He hits physical and ranged close up, so unless you likes constantly desperately casting IB while your barb's hp plays cops and robbers, have a ranged class to tank (mages, psychics, and venomancers (The girls themselves, not their pets). Ranged pets can do the trick too, but be aware that any other class there will have to watch their dps as well.

I once did it with me being lv40 sin, another lv45 sin and a veno lv 56, it was about controlling the aggro, also most hits went to the high sin, it was a miracle we killed him.
