then why have an MP one to begin with? archers and clerics need it at 75 or else theyll fry their MP on their AOEs >_>.

I don't use an mp charm for that reason I mentioned. I almost never use an hp charm either I don't get hit much and I eat it up when I swap to fill my mp.

As a veno you might consider using an hp charm instead of mp and rely on soul transfusion for mp boost. That is... if mp is down to 25% and you wish to use charm to boost it use your soul transfusion to swap hp and mp. The hp will immediately recharge and both bars will be full.

I don't like doing that. I want to save the charm for when it has a good use, like an aoe boss that hits hard, or the times I pull agro from my pet, which happens to be all the time in fbs even fb 89.

Wait... I thought you had some pk principles against charms. b:pleased
For such instances an orb (I forget its name but its a lvl 4 apoth giving 100mp/sec 10 mins) does the job nicely. Its made from butterfly herb and serpentine if I remember right.

Did I mention anything about pvp? I said bosses and pulling agro. What I hate is that I keep my damage low intentionally so I don't steal agro but sage skills are too strong and I get it anyway. HP charms are good for those times.

It's still bad when I need mp, I don't want to eat my charm, and I don't feel like making a ton of apoth items even though my skill is level 6. I'd much prefer to just adjust the mp charm use rate to make it less than 75%

That's not an issue since I don't pvp here, the players aren't worth my time. I do TW with the guild I'm in and I almost never die with anti-stun and 1/2 damage pots.

Yes, let me set it to 1% and I'll be fine. :p

I agree about the mp charm though. Sometimes I would rather just sit and rest. With it at 75% it usually kicks in before I have that option. I imagine it is intentionally made that way. Burns them up quicker.. and they know that. Faster it burns, more we buy, more they make.

Oh and Zoe, I was just teasing cuz of your hard nosed sig about pking ethics. It sounds more like a wish list for the opponent... though Im sure you are more than competent with your skills... prob teach my little lvl 74 veno a few things.

    Zoe in a PM earlier:
You are yet another coward who thinks they can pvp but does not know the first thing about real pvp. Get lost, the real pvpers have arrived.

can you be any more full of yourself? you're obviously a lying hypocrit whos full of it. check your ego in at the door girl, this is a place for discussion not bragging your pathetic ego.

Could ssomebody explain to me why archers need it to tick at 75% instead of 25%? Do they have a skill that uses up more than 25% of their total MP in one go?

Seems pretty obvious they set it that way just so you cant manage the charm more efficiently. Can not take it off and ticks at 75% = use up fast as possible and have to buy another.

The thing they don't equate is that people will postpone equipping MP charm, cause they understand how it works or not buy at all cause it looses value, due to that fact you cant manage MP charms vs pots and potions. Also manipulation of cash item, like that, makes some decide to possible quit. Also many people only have so much disposable income. Make them spend it all on MP charms and they just cant buy anything else but spend no more dollars. Factoring all that in, in the end, PWI income is not improved and they just annoy loyal customers. Over time that annoyance make for hostile forums and a loss of customers.

people with no disposable income play this game because it's free, lets not forget that

and charms can be bought with ingame coins. theres always ways to make money in this game, even barbs i know that cant grind for decent profit because of repair costs manage to buy full TT from collecting mats

I personally will never buy them, why?

    1st squad buff - tick
    2nd - tick
    3rd - tick
    4th - tick
    5th - tick
    buff myself - tick

I can barely cast 3+ spells without it ticking

Shame they made it 75%, im not complaining since I have only used it once and lasted me a day (bronze) so it made me never wanna buy the MP charm from the shop.

Its their loss tbh, making it tick so early on.

The mp charms are totally not worth the price for me (cleric). I used the emerald one in half an hour(!!!) of grinding although I had also focus powder on.
The gold one is considered gone in 2 TT runs... nice to have for BBs, but as it ticks also when buffing, healing,... all I get is tick, tick, tick. So I don't spend coins on mp charm - I handle it with apothecary stuff and cookies.
If it would tick at 25% - I would most probably always have one, until then - a big NO to mp charms from me. Not worth it.
