Radiance - with 25 lands (before they lost Broken Plain, Hidden Orchid and Archosaur)

Guess any faction in Heavens Tear is going to take a very long time to catch up to Lost City now b:chuckle

I don't see how it's something to be proud of that one of LC's guilds own more land than HT's guilds. It just shows how boring LC is. I 'd actually prefer more color be on HT's map but alas, that might not be for a while.

When I first joined Radiance, way way back in like the 2nd week the server was open, KittyKat was still the leader.
Wargasm convinced me to join, and shortly after I joined, someone from TheEmpire (one of the few I had PKed before I was in Radiance), saw that I had joined.

This person PMed KittyKat and told her that I was a PKer. KittyKat PMed me and told me to turn my name blue and that PKing was not allowed in Radiance. (And for the 3 people [that I can think of] Adriana, Wargasm, and Sheswas, who did have white names, they were told PKing was only allowed in self defense.)

I told her there was NO WAY I was turning my name blue because 1.) limiting my free will just to be part of a guild is stupid.
and 2.) PKing was fun.

She threatened to kick me out unless I changed it and I said fine, kick me out.
Not wanting to lose a high level wizard (the same reason the other PKers were allowed to stay), she had June talk to me. June was Director at the time.

I talked with June at length about this, and finally she agreed to tell Kitty that I could play with a white name.

But KittyKat kept whining about "It's a PvE server not a PvP server so you can't PK!", so eventually we all quit.

It was this dumb rule that was constantly being pushed in our faces that CAUSED Myself, HotDOG, Wargasm, Adriana, Afrodyta, and other to leave Radiance and form Elysium.

It might not have been a 'written in stone' rule, but if was being forced on us so much that is resulted in a massive loss of Radiance members to form another guild.

So, in our books, it was a rule we didn't like.

Your spelling sux. It's spelt "ahead" not "behind". More colors = real TW, 1-3 colors only = dead TW

What do LC ppl do on weekends? Have tea parties? Frink'in carebears! lol

It's no fun when a single guild has absolute dominance over everyone else.

This has been a very interesting history lesson. Thanks. I luv all the drama... as long as Im on the outside looking in. But I wanna know the whole story about why the TheEmpire crumbled. At the time it was all rumors about wanting to immigrate to a PvP server or quit. I don't buy it. I can't picture that a majority of members would want to start over from lvl 1. I think (maybe hope) that there is more of a story behind this. Do tell someone... please... I want more drama... I need my drama fix.

Oh, also wanna know what TheEmpire is up to now. Seems they are rebuilding.

TE had a bit of a drama upset when Blaze cracked, so to speak and left the guild, handing it to her director, DeadlySin. There were many issues that had the officers uncomfortable with his lead. However, he was quite set on keeping hold of the position, so the officers did what we could and made the best of it. As feared, things didn't go so well. I won't go into details, but suffice to say.. it was a situation hated by members and officers alike. (And no, it had nothing to do with RoC.. it was all internal.)

Then came the day that Deadly stoped logging on at all. Weeks went by; TW wars came and went. Members and officers alike even started putting forth some of their own personal money with promises from our director of repayment.

After a while, it was quite obvious that we were lied to and ditched. (Some of the less stuborn folks had already jumped ship.) So the officers got together and decided to reform under a new name and take back our lands. Most of what was left of the guild came with us, as the trouble wasn't with the bonding of the guild.. but the bonding with the leader.

Friday afternoon right after server posted payrolls, Deadly logged on for about 5 minutes. (I happened to see him by the banker while I was in Immolation Camp.) 160mil .. yeah, you can figure what happened with that. b:scorn

So the short story? The origional Empire crumbled to bad leadership. However, that old leadership is long since gone.

Above his head it read "Leader of TheEmpire"

I guess he gave up on Legion.

Will TheEmpire ever come back as a force to be reckoned with?
After all, the name is no less kingly than the Caesar. b:chuckle

I suppose it remains to be seen.
