but I do not talk only of TW, I talk about all events, they will all be held at a bit more normal time now. I only took 8pm as an example.

I honestly find no point in the GMs posting this topic
It's stupid.
They should have just waited until they knew when servers would be coming out to tell us rather then have us wait here just like every other game I've played.. -_-

It's not stupid, ever heard about hype?

They're just making it so people tell every single of their friends and start getting organised for the new server. It's just a way to bring a lot of people.

Any confirmation would be in this thread. All the info we have atm is that the servers will be out very soon.

I'm actually glad they gave us advanced notice. I gives me time to make my decision about which class I want to roll, reading up on the guides and advice for the classes I'm interested in.

I'm coming from a different version of this game, so it's also letting me get back into PWI terminology. I've even logged into my old PWI characters b:victory

"they will announce when servers will open in 2 weeks"
so maybe tonight they just say
"we came to a conclusion servers will officially open April 3rd"
then wtf will you do.

Yes its great they let us know about the Servers before hand

New servers will open March 3rd or whatever

Yes, I think they are opening tonight. The GM's said 1 or 2 weeks'. It's been 2 weeks now.

Well, they also said they would inform us. Does this mean 'suprise' or to 'give advance notice. We will soon see.

A few hours' of waiting isn't long in a life time, I'm sure we can all manage it.

I can't wait, like I have previously stated, for the new server's. I hope it will ease up some of the congestion on Lost City(like the hardcore catshoppers' in West District).

They must have known a time the server's where expected. Remember un-expected errors etc... could obviously make things not go to plan. If they had said a certain date/time, and something went wrong, then they would have gotten some stick from us - the gamer's. But, they also said 1 or 2 weeks notice, so I expect them to announce the server dates tonight. Mabe even release them.

Like I said, mabe they'll suprise us.

But at the same time rather then saying They will announce when forums will be released in 1-2 weeks why couldn't they just say Servers will be open in 1-2 weeks? because Now we dunno if they will open in 1-2 weeks or if we will simply be told the real date they open in 1-2 weeks.

so hopefully, they said 1-2 weeks cause they were prepared to launch it in 1 week but something went wrong so they had to push that back to the second week which would be tomorrow.

***EDIT*** This wasn't directed at you personally. You made a good point with your last few sentences, imo.


People shouldn't get all worked up over this. After all, they are doing this for the benefit of the community. Alot of games I've played, well, let's just say the GM's aren't as good as the guy/girls here.

If they wasn't needed, and you saw the same post as this, you would not get any new servers for a while after it. Like I say "the servers are needed."

1) as the quote says, the gm was talking about the actual launch
--furthermore, you dont make a hype thread anticipating the date for another date, especially not in this type of scene

2) in the f2p mmo world only during closed beta launch/open beta launch do they typically give exact times of server openings
--it'll be released this week and then posted in the announcement section as its already opened. less lag/problems than if everybody knew exactly when to start spamming 'log in'

But, they haven't given exact dates yet. They said they "will announce" in 1 or 2 weeks. I am guessing, when they announce it, they will be released 1 week after, at the next maint*.
