    The following weapons glow:
-Three-star (purple name) : Blue glow. Obtained at lvl 20 from a quest, or rarely from weapon manufacturing.
-Legendary (gold name) : Gold glow. Obtained by using materials and a mold (dropped from dungeon bosses) at a Legendary weapon forge in Archosaur.
-Twilight (green name) : Green glow. Obtained by using Twilight Temple materials at a Twilight Weapon forge in Archosaur.

Also, you can make armor glow by adding soulgems, here's a list:
2 grade 5 hp stones = purple glow
    2 grade 5 phys def stones = orange/reddish glow
2 grade 5 mag def stones = white glow
2 grade 5 mp stones = blue glow
2 grade 5 evasion stones = yellow glow
2 grade 5 elemental stones = green glow
2 grade 5 stones, not the same = sparkles
4 grade 8 hp stones = lightning effect
4 grade 8 mp stones = blue crystal effect
4 grade 8 elemental stones = Strong green glow with sparkles
4 grade 8 phys def stones = Burning fire
4 grade 8 mag def stones = Strong white mist
4 grade 8 evasion stones = Bigger/stronger yellow glow with sparkles.

Ahhh, finally the answer I've been seeking to glowing weapons!

Question for the materials and molds from dungeon bosses:
    What dungeons?
I've seen some legendary weapons that are required level somewhere in the mid 20s, so I am curious.

The molds required for the legendary armor and weps in the 20s is found as drops from the FB19 bosses. correct me if im wrong :D

the rest of the mats to make them are just things you can harvest and such

not smart. You could farm for days (maybe weeks) and see nothing. mostly due to your level. You can probably get a 3 star or two, but you probably won't get molds

i had total noob beginners luck! this is my first mmorpg after years of fps games. my fb19 (which was my first run in the cave) dropped two molds for me upon the demise of the boss. guild leader's jaw dropped and i'm all..."molds? what are molds?" had no idea how rare they were! im not sure i've seen one drop since. b:chuckle but...it CAN happen!

So if I solo into the cave FB19, can I find and kill the boss and hopefully find the mold?

You need sockets if you want to imbue soulgems, stars don't matter.

    Yarh

stars just correspond to the quality of the item (3 being the highest, one the lowest)

the sockets are how many of the shards you can fit into the item :P (3 sockets= 3 shards, etc...)

Well i thought to make my new magic sword glow, it had no sockets, and so i added 2
Then bought two average shards, but no effct no glow, so i changed them for new other average , again paid 120.000 , but still no glow, then i asked in world chat, they all said, is your wep 3 stars ?
Well it had no stats on it at all, so i guess thats why ? Any comments on this ?
So you cant make a simple weapon glow (lvl 6) ? It has to be allready with 3 stars, or is it also with 2 ?

Wasted 8 gold on this joke bluh :-(

thx to advice any good info so i get it right nxt timeb:thanks

Weapons don't glow when imbued with soulgems. Only armor does. Weapons glow when they're threestar, legendary or twilight temple.

So is it impossible to make my weapons glow by putting mirage and other stones in it?

Correct. Stones only make armor glow; weapons glow based on the other things mentioned (3-star, legendary, twilight)

And mirage stones don't make anything glow AFAIK.

What if i refine my weapon with mirage celestones and make it a 3 star, will it glow then?

Celestones do NOT make anything glow, period. No exceptions.
Threestars glow naturally, but you can't make a threestar. They're either a threestar from the start (the moment you obtain it), or they'll never be a threestar.

Your *what* didn't glow? People are talking about both armor and weapons in this thread.

If your 3-star weapon isn't glowing, make sure it's 3-star and not +3 (which is a refining value and doesn't make things glow).

If your armor doesn't glow, make sure you have 2 of the requisite level gems in it. Also, your armor level needs to be 5 or higher, which is the level listed near the name, not the requisite level to wear (i know i read that somewhere, just had to make sure)

If all of that is correct, I suppose there may be a technical issue, though i haven't heard of one only affecting your own weap/armor. You could always post a screenie with the non-glowy thing with its stats showing.

Lvl 5 armor doesn't matter. If you can put in two average shards or better, it IS lvl 5 or more. =P

Weapons only glow if they are 3*, legendary, or Twilight Temple, and all that fancy stuff. But you can give them effects.

2 Flawless Gems in a weapon will give it a trailing lightning ishy effect around the hand.

Hi, I picked up a 3 star weapon with no sockets. Then I bought 2 sockets from a cat shop and took them to a pw boutique. I found that I cannot add sockets even though they are boutique??? Or am I doing something wrong? I don't understand this process of how to add sockets to a weapon. Could someone enlighten me please? Thanks.
