    I traded a sawfly for a insect mistress because it was a higher lv. Was that a mistake.

    Lower levels of the same classes of pets are always better statwise.

    Also, seriously stop posting in thread from a few months ago.

    so far the ppl that post say that all the stats are eactly the same for every pet for the same level which is a lie.

    there is a little window in the pet info that looks like this...
    PICTURE
    and controls the growth and stat boost of each pet.

    each one has a set stat boost based on the NAME not the type of pet.
    so again we ask which FLYING pet has the stat boost the highest for ATTACK, HEALTH, REGEN, and PHY DEF?

    Phoenix without a doubt. Among non-legendary pet, the petite sawfly takes the cake for attack (in a virtual dead heat with the cloud skatefish), and health and phy def is probably the windwalking piggy, widely regarded as the only flying tank pet. Regen? Who cares? It's a non-factor, being dwarfed by your heals and by damage taken from anything but very low level (compared to the pet) mobs.

    on my way up to this level, i've tried just about all the air pets, (except phoenix, who im sure is the best), and have wound up using the windwalking pig for about 30 levels. im told that she is the next toughest thing to the phoenix, she hits well, and i;ve used her to fight even underwater mobs.

    i have a couple of beginner venos that i have equipped with the cloud skate fish, which i have seen a lot of people using in levels higher than i would have thought, so they must be better than i thought.

    My understanding is:

    The Baby Blazing Phoenix, of course, rules the roost.

    Then you've got the attack pets - the skatefish is equivalent to the sawwing.

    Then there's a middle ground of the various other insect types.

    Then there's the tank-flyers; the windwalking piggy tops that list, but the foxwings and the white pheasant do good duty there too.

    But it's very very rare that you NEED a flying tank. So most people go with the attack pets - though a fox will serve you perfectly well.

    ummm...i think petite sawly,'cuz it's the lower lvl air pet in pwi and if u grow it to a high lvl e.g:65 it will be more stringer than other pets that u caught,even if they are the same lvl!or up

    You're just continuing the necro

    But the flying piggy is a rare pet. Either wait for it to spawn and hope to goodness you tame it before other venos or buy it off the AH.

    Necro means that a long dead thread comes back to life. People generally don't like it since dead threads are dead for a reason: the question has been answered or the topic was discussed and closed.
    Feel free to make a new thread whenever you have a question here in the Venomancer forums (if it's about your venomancer of course) you will receive answers and advice fast and no flaming for necro.

    As for the windwalking piggy you can find it here. Scroll down and you'll find the coordinates. However, keep in mind that it is a rare pet. It spawns every 12 hours and the hour is not stable. You'll have to find the hour on your own. It's lvl 30 by the way.
