    Why are you arguing whether pw is a cash shop heavily based game? At least thats what I saw, on PW-MY it pretty much was. 60-70+ without hiero and the lag was total lameness. For pvp hiero's are quite needed

    You can do without them, but you'll be heavily disadvantaged. Well not as much as Rohan that games cash shop sucks total monkey ba...nanas . I mean in that game if you didn't cash shop might as well not play at all D;

    Arcane and koz you're both right lulz. The server is a PVP Server in this region yet it is JUST THE SAME as the MY server's. *gonks both players with a rolled up newspaper*

    It's the SAME exact server lol. Have you never played any other versions? The MY servers are both NORMAL servers. The PVP is just a NORMAL server but they call it PVP because it doesn't have the pk toggle option. :rolleyes:

    And you confirmed this how?
    Where has it been stated that no new mechanics will be implemented in the PvP server just as they have been in the PvE one.
    I am on these forums alot and I have yet to see any GM confirm no new mechanics will be implemented on the new PvP server.

    Yeah but they never stated that it would be the same server type as other versions. And that's not why i posted this. This post is to try and get the game mechanics changed or to see if they were changed. IDK why half of you guys are arguing about this considering your going to be on the PvE server?

    All I know is, I'm not chinese and and this is not the MY server, I'm american and this is the american version. We don't always enjoy the same rules and grinding as them. I want to pvp freely and for me when I see something called a pvp server that tells me I can pvp freely, If I can't then they need to change the dam name. If you want everything to be liike the MY version then go play the MY version. There is a reason majority of people call these games asian grinders, THEY DON'T LIKE TO GRIND LIKE ASIANS DO.. I also really hope i'm not forced to use a cash shop, if its even half as bad as rohan i'm going to go play atlantica

    I think the "normal" servers are the one with the on/of PvP option. To my knowledge, the only servers who don't have this option activated are the 2 MY-EN servers.... All the other ones have the PvP in/out option.

    Exactly, why would you care if anything on the PvP server is changed if you are not rolling on it.
    Xkw, I will message you the suggestion I sent to a few of the GMs.

    I messaged them directly instead of posting so that it actually gets looked at instead of becoming a meaningless flame war post that this one has deteriorated into.

    Cash shop is needed on this game, but cash shop items can be bought with in game cash as well.

    Most other versions don't have the pk on/off option. Didn't you read the post where it said that only Taiwan and a few others have a single server with that option? I play the PH version alot and it doesn't have that option. I think the serpent server might, but dragon and tiger do not.

    thats pretty depressing, I wish the game was p2p. These companies be getting over on people with these item malls and basically forcing you to buy the stuff or be at a disadvantage and die.

    Nah it isn't that bad on PW, You can get by without ever spending a dime if you want. You'll just have to farm herbs a little bit more etc.


    @ Arcane good idea :) Started off as a question posed to the game staff...and has deteriorated to this.

    There are some options so you'll not drop equipment.

    Military equipment is undroppable.

    There is also an NPC (not activated on MY-EN) that allows you to bind your equipment so it will not drop. No idea how this work or what it cost tho. If anyone knows more....

    Not entire mechanics lol.

    They would simply need to change a percent of items dropping,
    and Increase the kills needed to go red.

    It is actually probably less than a days work. Probably hours tbh.

    Yep, they're trying to get American players to play which mean they need to appeal to Americans. Americans are the ones who compare everything to WOW and hate to grind. They need to make the game appeal to Americans, If not then why even bother with this version of the game at all?

    His posts says he wants to change the entire mechanics. It's basically: I don't like to grind, so lets make it an extremely high rate server. I hate cash shops, so let's make the game p2p, and since I like pking so much they might as well do away with then penalties.

    This is not a US only game -lol- Should we just disregard Europe even though they have a bigger player base? If you don't like it, stick with WoW. And I suppose you can speak for all Americans? I live in America and I like to grind, so there goes that fact out the window.

    I have not stated that I hate to grind, I have not stated I hate the cash shop.
    I stated that the POINT of the game was not to BUY items. The point is to have fun, cash shop allows you to enhance your play.

    I am and have been talking about PvP mechanics this whole time. It is not my fault if you fail to see that.

    You misunderstand my post, the p2p comment had nothing to do with everything else I said, I simply stated that I personally hate cash shops and the way companies force you to use them. Also no one said the server needed to be high rate but it needs to be decent. Lets use rohan as an example, those goons lowered the rates even worse than the Asian versions and force everyone to buy exp scrolls if they want to lvl. That is something I and a lot of other people will not tolerate.

    Oh and yea if its a pvp server then you shouldn't get owned every time you try to pvp someone, makes sense to me I mean dam it is a PVP SERVER

    When you change reasons you must also change your appeals.

    My example:
    McDonalds.
    here they serve the basic fastfoods and fries.
    HOWEVER
    http://www.mcdonalds.com.tw/
    Go there and order rice, or even corn with your meal.
    When you change regions, you must change to appeal to the members of that region.

    Uhh, Im the OP if you haven't noticed and just for reference i hate WoW it's a newb game. Seeing as by your posts you guys wont be playing on the PvP server anyways why don't you just stop flaming?

    You do understand that these games are businesses and they need to make money correct? It's not a f2p game with no strings attached.

    First of all learn to read. I never said I liked wow, hell I never said I even played wow you hob goblin. Second, you're in the minority, majority of americans don't like to grind, why do you think bots are so popular? why do you think one of the hardest grinding games out right now is full of bots? cough silkroad cough. Please try again son.

    I agree, if you have a suggestion about the server you are playing on, feel free to post it, but do not post anything if it will not even have an effect on you.

    P.S. WoW had the best PvP of any game I have ever played.

    Mostly the same =/= the same.
    Also, most of those places are pretty close regionally speaking. The US has always been unique in it's views and what types of things that they support. I do not agree on keeping the servers exactly the same as past versions because It is not the same target market.

    Making money is fine, of course they need to do that, doesn't mean they need to ruin the game for the people who don't want to spend 100 dollars at the cash shop though. Its called Balance, look it up.
