On the malaysian server, many players edited the .ini files to make their chars incredibly thin, or fat, or with no heads and such.

The GMs there said it was against their ToS, but bever bothered to ban anyone for doing so,

Will the staff here take this matter seriously and actually forbid this practice and actually ban those doing it?
Frankieraye said : "we can promise that we will work to improve all facets of community, engineering, and customer service to ensure that something like this doesn't happen again."


(We are still waiting to see any improvements or changes beign implemented. More empty promises from PWI?)

    I really hope they do, I hated seeing those stick thin characters with fat heads walking around.. :rolleyes:

    I hope yes.
    Once, I "saw" an invisible character, prolly with an edited .ini
    What I saw were the buff effects moving on their own, moved my cursor over them and they were highlighted as a player - i could select it etc.

    Now imagine which advantages you get in pvp / TW with such a char =_=
    PW has been endless frustration for me #2

    I won't do that, even if they don't ban. I can't stand looking at a stick running around.

    btw, i could never understand people making ugly chars.
    the RL is ugly enough, don't bring that to games, too u_u;;
    I can making such chars for fun, bu to actually play one as a main.... <_<;;

    What about differently-coloured werefox 'fox type' tails? That's also an ini mod, but not a disfiguring "what-the-heck-is-that-thing" one. Unless there's gonna be a way to legitimately edit that colour during character creation? Gotta admit it looks nice when the tail matches the hair ;)

    Modifying your client side files in any way will result in an administrative action on your account. Play the game the way it's meant to be played. ;)

    I wouldn't call it client side file. You can save it anywhere and do pretty much anything, right? Of course, it is used by the client, but still...

    Yeah Ive seen them and Im like wtf lol...hey bug eyed someone or rather is a good example roflmao hmmmm I think everyone knows him best as the GM of USA guild lol... either way Ive seen some stick figures and its ewwwwwwwwwww but allowing a WF to change the color of her tail to match her hair or a WB to change the colors of his coat would rock if it were legitimate that is ;)

    Oh yes i know who you mean, zorkan, he has no head huge upper body, well he does have a head but.
    it's nothing worth mentioning.

    LOL makes you wander huh but you are right there hun he is right fugly lol...it would be interesting to see how long his um hmmm ways would last but knowing him he wouldnt have the balls to start a new char and get it whomped rofl...no wait he gets his butt handed to him in oracle so it wouldnt be much difference lol...hmmmm maybe he will seeing as he cant safely hunt on his own in Oracle rofl :D;)

    D: yes i think pandas should be able to get away with it because they are cute.
    And i imagine the player to be a cute panda and try not to think it could be some weird creepy guy at the comp looking at clerics chests as they run.
