here be two very important ones that hasn't been addressed yet....as far as me know...
GM
and
Devs
GM = Game Moderator....DOES NOT create new content...merely moderates the game, provides services such as if your character gets stuck in a glitched place. Although they can put in occasional events (these events be gotten from already existing files such as the double exp/drop/spirit event) and alter the cash shop to an extent. They do not create the new wings, packs, etc. they merely make it available in the cash shop.
Devs = Developers. They be the ones who create new content such as fashion, expansions, quests, etc.darthpanda16: Firefox crashed on me. Aryannamage: I don't think I am a GM that would be new.
Hawk:Do this. closing thread
frankieraye: I'll see if we can replace the woman with a stick figure and the tiger fangs with marshmallows.//Issues like these need to get escalated quickly to minimize the damage.
Kantorek: Yeah.. you should try it. It's awesome.
Sihndra: Nope- not currently possible under any circumstances. Sorry.
LokisDottir: I mean...not haunting the forums, nope nope..
Konariraiden: You don't know what you are up against. You will lose.
Waiting for...Hamster Packs!
58% chance to get tokens
41% chance to get an all class pet hamster....but they has already been freed by the magic hamster.
1% chance to get ban hamstered with the message "Hamsters United!"

I know this is going to be embarassing...
..But why did iknowmymom mention "AGI" as an abbreviation that is used in the game? I haven't seen the attribute being mentioned in the "c" menu ingame, but only DEX, STR, MAG, and VIT ...
Sorry, I am still new to the game,so please bear with me!0 -

Twilight Temple
It's a dungeon people choose to run to get materials for their TT armors and weapons not sure if u ever have a quest telling you to go in there... b:surrender0 -
What does BH[insert number] stand for?0
-
BH stands for "Bounty Hunter." BH is a daily quest you can pick up from the Bounty Hunter in the middle of archosaur.0

So if OP means overpowered, then when someone refers to an "OP skill", it's a skill learned that overpowers the enemy?0
-
Well, an OP skill *would* beat up your target, but....
Typically, calling a skill (or class, etc) "OP" means that you think it's *too* powerful. Unfairly better than others. Needs to be made weaker. (This is, of course, frequently subjective. It happens *alot* in pvp-centered games, with people complaining about whatever skill or class just beat them up. Heh.)0 -
Akoya - Raging Tide wrote: »So if OP means overpowered, then when someone refers to an "OP skill", it's a skill learned that overpowers the enemy?
OP effectivly means to powerfull, not in ballance with the rest. So and OP skil is an overpowerd (to powerfull to be in balance) skil.
An axample is the veno pet's flesh ream, which has no dmg reduction in PvP (all other attacks have a 75%dmg reduction in PvP). Because of this, a bleed that would normaly hurt you, like the barb's flesh ream, kills an arcane low hp class in a few ticks because it deals 4times the dmg it should deal9 out of 10 voices in my head say I'm not crazy... the 10th is singing the music of tetris0 -
Best sticky ever! This has really helped a lot in my understanding of the various abbreviations in the game."I have no personality whatsoever. Cower before my blandness!"
Cookie to whomever gets the reference.0 -
QQing- Literally, QQ is a set of crying eyes. However, given its usual context in online games, it is usually assumed to mean "Cry more noob."
For example: LOL, are you still whining about how you got owned? QQ!!!!!111111111111[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

This must be the will of the Mods!
"I am a Blademaster
I fight For the squad, though I am not needed in the squad
I die for the squad, so no one else does
I defend myself, while others are occupied
I am the heart of combat
I live to die so you dont have to
Please Dont thank me, I do not need it" BIaze_0 -
Awesome, thank you Iknowmymom (I'm digging that name there )
I probably should have mentioned that a couple of the character classes wouldn't be abbreviated the same since their names are different, well see what people come up with though.0 -
What's a subber? I know they get first pick in TT generally, but I don't understand what they are.0

FootStep - Sanctuary wrote: »What's a subber? I know they get first pick in TT generally, but I don't understand what they are.
A Subber is the person that used ultimate substances to unlock the TT. In many situations the subber is also defaulted mirages that drop to recoup some of the cost of the used substances. These substances can be made at a TT material forge or with tokens of luck.0 -
Someone asked about this earlier:
Vent: short for Ventrilo. It's an internet voice communication program used by a lot of serious online gamers. Anyone can download the client and speak to others but someone has to pay for a server to use. They're relatively cheap though.0 -

FYI, Vitenka/Vitenks and I have added the list to the PWI wiki, along with a few more abbreviations and terms, plus some images. It's nearly complete, but please feel free to improve any existing entries, fix any problems with alphabetizing or whatever, or add any terms that are still missing.
The wiki page can be found here: Abbreviations - Alphabetical
Once that's basically finalized I plan to make an "Abbreviations - By Category" page, that sorts everything there into those terms and abbreviations used just in PWI, those used just in online games, and those in more general usage. That way people don't have to read the whole thing just to get the PWI-specific terms and abbreviations.
Note: I didn't add emoticons (other than "QQ", since many confuse that one for an abbreviation), because you could probably do a whole entry on them alone. Adding any emoticons could just open the floodgates to an absurdly large number of unimportant entries.0 -
