Partially missing face colour [Resolved]

Hiya,
So I recently installed PWI and made a character. During character creation everything looked normal as I selected the skin colour.
Once I completed character creation all but a T-shaped area on her face suddenly had its colour reverted to pure white, while the T stayed tanned (see image). This is before I've entered the game world. I'm still in character select.
Strangely, if I enter character creation again to edit her and alter the skin colour a fraction, then finish editing the skin returns to normal.
However, as soon as I log in with her the issue resurfaces.
Troubleshooting:
1. I can see everyone else's face perfectly fine. No mismatch of colour.
2. The stranger I asked in game said that they could see the mismatched colours on mine.
3. I've not been able to find anyone with the same issue on the forums. Similar texture issues pointed to AV software messing with the game files, so I've made an exception for my PWI folder, then restarted my PC. This didn't work.
An immediate workaround I've used is to just set her skin to the palest white I can so it matched the bugged face texture, which obviously means that I can't change her back once I've found a fix, but I'm sure I can front that bill when it comes to it or just remake.
Here's the specs of the PC I'm trying to run PWI on. I do have access to admin rights on this PC, but if you ask me to find a file it might take me some time to dig it up:

I've probably missed something basic in my troubleshooting, so I'm taking any and all advice ^^

If others can see your characters issue as well the problem probably lies within the characters values. This cannot be fixed by ingame means but you'll have to save your character's ini and edit the ini file directly from your game folder and save it onto your character again. This looks like the typical bug I have encountered a lot of times where tideborn skin texture are attempted to be put on top of old races such as elves (I did a LOT of ini editing in the past).
I cannot say directly what the problem is without looking at the files (dont have time RIGHT now) but you could post your ini here and I can see if I can fix it a little later.

I'm not sure if I can do this, because when I tried to save the character's look as a preset it would look like it had saved and was added to the list, but when I opened character creation back up there were no custom presets. Only the default ones...
As i said in my post, I /did/ only ask one stranger. I don't know what the community is like here, but maybe I should have tried to find more people in case they were messing with me. Currently not able to do this as I can no longer freely edit my character.
I'll see if the issue happens on a brand new character, I suppose, and if it does I'll ask more people and see if I can get presets to save so I can show you the .ini file.

Hmm if your presets aren't saving but you have defaults available in the list, it sounds like there's some administration setting on your computer preventing PWI from saving files so you'd probably need to check the settings on the PWI folder. This usually happens when taking a screenshot in-game as well, so you can at least test that way to see if the screenshots save.Roxxannae - Twilight Temple

I'm able to save screenshots. I can see a saved preset but if I select it I get "Customisation data error." and nothing happens.
I've tried making a new cleric and set the skin tone the same. I didn't notice the issue even after I got in game, so I'm going to try recreating my character's look and will see if it was a one-off issue. Update forthcoming!
Edit: When creating a new character the issue doesn't seem to occur. I also successfully saved a preset. I wasn't able to perfectly replicate the character, so I don't want to play on this new one. I also don't want to re-level.
Does this help narrow down my issue? Do you think I should buy a makeover scroll so I can save a preset of my faulty character and share my .ini file for her?Post edited by missbehaviour#3600 on0 -

If you havent saved your old clerics ini file you can use a makeover scroll and save the file via the makeover npc (dont have to consume the scroll).

I'm gonna have to decide if I want to drop money on the game already, so I'll get back to you on that. If it's as simple as editing a .ini file though (once I have it) then that's great ^^0 -
What server are you on/name?
You dont have to drop money on the game for this. Makeover scroll is less than pocket money and I can mail you one for free.Post edited by shopcheese on0 -

That's sweet of you c: Don't feel like you have to, but if you insist then I'm on the EU server and I'm MissBehaviour.0 -
I sent you one. EU is not a server I play, but I did have enough coins for it. Should arrive within an hour0

Thanks, I just got it and saved my preset! Below is the .ini file for her. I had a look to see if I could spot anything that looks wrong, but I can't see anything myself. Maybe you can c:[3Parts]

Okay so I do see some things in there that would cause customization data error, in particular idFaceTex, idFalingSkin, and idFalingTex. This should fix those issues:[3Parts]
