Rebuilt PC, Now Gibberish Pops Up When I Click Play

Over the weekend we rebuilt my roommate's 12 year old PC (that he was able to play PWI on with no issues), but now that we've rebuilt it (the harddrives are the same) he's having trouble getting in-game. ARC and the PWI Launcher come up fine, but when he clicks play, an error pop-up comes up with nothing but gibberish on it. It's literally gibberish, not another language or a PC code.

What did we miss? I'm thinking this might be an easy fix, I just need a point in the right direction.

Read Sticky thread from SylenThunder. Sounds like you have the error he shows for no video or directx driver.​​

And direct x version?

Windows 7 Pro, DirectX11 according to dxdiag.

Whenever I transferred my PWI files to another computer I'd have to reset the graphics settings in the patcher or I'd sometimes get a similar issue to yours. Give that a try and see if that helps.

I'm heading it's to do with graphics. As mostly that's where we have seen issues like this.
