They are bound to the same keys as the first, main bars (1, 2, 3...F1, F2, F3 etc) but are cycled through with the v and tilde keys to bring them down to the numbered bar. The option to cycle through each bar is toggled off and on by clicking on the tiny blue diamond button next to each row so you can cycle through only the second and first rows etc. You can see this in action in one of my friends videos as she uses this keybind option for her skills (many do not so hope she doesnt mind i use her as an example xD) heres a link to one of her videos so you can get an idea visually

None of the bars have any lag so you can switch bars, press the key, then switch back instantly (the bars won't even change visually if you do it fast enough).

Obviously this is only viable with macros, since humans aren't fast enough to press multiple buttons within a millisecond of each other. You can do this with gaming mice/keyboards or use a program like autohotkey.

Once you set the macros up, it's essentially the same as getting an extra row of keybinds (Currently I use 36 keybinds spread between keyboard and mouse but it's definitely possible to do more).

You can do everything manually by hand but obviously it makes it much harder to keep track of which bar you're on and its more mistake-prone.

@heero200 Heh. I see what you did there.

I've never personally done them myself but I feel like I've always gimped my play doing a strange hybrid of clicking on my fully extended hotbar and then using keysbindings mapped and locked to the default bottom row. I haven't actually attempted to scroll though my binds like this... *takes notes*

I'm the same. I was a gamer nub when i started PWI many years ago and didnt understand the concept so just clicked on all skills. Still do to this day. Have no problem using keys for other games but never can get past that clicking just feels natural to me (even though I know the response time on keys is much better >.<)

Cheap shots gotta love them. Well it was left wide open as well...

Im a avid clicker as well like 4 times before the skills work. I have some macros setup but im going to look at this kinda click thing. could be useful for different tasks...
