New Endgame Gears

So ive been thinking and wondering when will PWI release the new set of gears. This is basically theory, but if you were to pay attention to things, PWI follows a color theme, blue, purple, yellow, orange and then red. The final stage of every gear or item is when it's RED. COM, Dominator Helmet, Ascension robe, S+ Cards, G17 weapons final stage, full star chart. Which raises the question when will we get the red gears, ornaments(dont remember if already exist), do we have red genies. What i want to know is what happens when PWI do release those gears, Will all the money i spent to the best gear go down the drain or will there be a way to upgrade them, especially if its release as G17 and not rank10 gear. Those final cast g17 weapons are badass, even boundless weapons dont match up to them. So people what do you think, personally when i heard about g17 weapons i was thinking the pve farming version of r999, you know like g16 a tougher instance than warsong, but farmable, but we all saw how that went, so i wonder if PWI will release better gear and how will they go about it

Judging by how they're handling other gears like cape/ring etc there will probably be one more final cast for armors. I'm guessing the x-fer cost will be similar to S2-S3, but depending on whether the stats are random or not we'll probably all end up having to reshard/refine everything. Chienkun prices in PWI are pretty high compared to other regions.

The only shards I think will be worth paying the chienkun cost for are JoSD/Deity and up.

To be honest I would not be surprised if they bring some sort of g17 armor on a not so distant future, maybe even in form of rank 10, after all there is already g17 weapons and ornaments, and next big update will bring capes and helmets.

Big problems I see are:

The cost is likely to be insane (especially considering the cost of a g17 weapon)
If there is some sort of free g17 armor, the chances are that it will take so much effort to get it that it will not be worth it, this due the instance being some sort of spark kill only or GTFO get perma one shoted.

I know that what im saying sounds very negative, but if you look back at some of the newest pwi dungeons, you will notice that most of the new instances either have those really annoying mechanics (JFSP, UP) or are like maze +100: too annoying for many people to even try it considering it gives rrr8 mats (no like I dislike this one tbh, but most of people do...)

Also If you look at the new instance that is coming on next update, well yeah is like UP or even harder...

Idk is it ? When considering people should pretty much be farming devil and serenity? I'm already sitting back doing the math in making coins ingame it would even take to hit those astronomically expensive stones, so what u get those then they release 10? What then? See , THAT'S the kicker .

If PWI wants to keep making ridiculous sums of money they will make an upgrade path for r9r3 involving Chienkuns - but not too many that people are off-put. It's a balancing act.

If they decide to go a completely fresh route with no upgrade path - expect half of this game to no longer exist when it's major more modern (2016) competitor launches next year.

Id have to go look, which, i cant right now, but i believe there was mention in the thread regarding pwcn recent update that g17 gears are farmable in fb instance no?

Ofc does not mean it will be farmable in our version, look at UP, its easy to break drop rates and charge 18 gold a mat in the boutique huh.

It sounds like there isnt a route to chienken stone or even upgrade r9 to g17 tho im happy to be proven wrong. Likely gears will be made like weapon with a whole new upgrading path. Least thats my guess.

I would like to think we will c R 10 as well as a G17. Much like we have with r9 and nirvana.

The only reason we had cast 2 and 3 of r9 is because the system at that point could not handle anything above G16 gears.

Something I always said would happen at some point.

Youre probably right @heero200. They gotta wait for g17 to have all the money spent on it first before r10 is rumored tho, right

@heero200 which is why I'm ignoring this horrendous g17 grind. Friends farm what 6 months just for 3rd cast every single day no thank you. You can have that I'll wait for r10 not like anything but xtw is competitive ATM and we have that what one night a week no need to rush. Which is why the current blood issue we facing doesn't even bother me in the least
