Anyone had the PWI old manual patches ?

I have every manual patch released since v16 or so. To be perfectly honest though, you're better off just downloading the game. They haven't put out a manual patch in a couple of years.

Re-install the Lancher and already over 24 hrs updating the patches , it is not even half the Game Version 950.
So it will take 3 days / 3 night to updating from Game Version 1 to Game Version 950 ?

So PWI do not bother to do anything to shorten the time taken to update the files for Game Version when re-install the Lanucher ?
Then , why still had new players want to wait for days to install the PWI Lancher for playing this MMO ?
Or already no more new players , all are alt players .

O.o you're going throught the manual patches?
If you have PWI installed and you're trying to update from an old version, don't, uninstall, go to arc, do the download and then patch and it will take you much much less.
I have a 200mb/s connection, not everyone does, but it took me around 15 mins when i reinstalled. On a satellite connection when i was living in another country it took me 1h, so, still, shouldn't be a problem.

    Hope this helps.

I'm in Germany, we have one of the worst internet connections in the world
(we elected and took the rrrrrreeeefugeees instead :s )
but I can download the full game (including Arc) within 30-40min.
Your connection to the US servers is just very bad.

Btw, mine is sometimes very bad too. E.g. when there is a rainy sunday I can't reach anything which is hosted beyond the Atlantic Ocean.
(the route gets mainly interrupted in Paris, maybe banned by the Banlieues ;()

Someone should just... create a system that automatically runs the patcher on wednesdays / thursdays, zip it and upload it to a server.
Like those autobuild servers for githubs.
    But then different.

tiger-18.gif It's not like PWI needs an installation anyway, can just copy pasta the directory.
At least that always worked for me.
It's a bit of a farfetched idea though.

In theory, that could be done.

You would need a client of the current version with all the .pck files extracted.
Then you would need a separate client of the new version with all the .pck files extracted.
Run a file compare, and pull all of the updated files out into their own folder. (With appropriate client folder structure for the .pck files.)
Then run the script to turn those files into the .cup file using the same build data as the servers.
Finally, upload the .cup files somewhere.

Hardest part is the build data for the script on the .cup files. That can be a bit tricky.
It's entirely do-able, but would take several hours, and who is going to spend time on doing that?

    Let's start summoning @asterelle
Nah, just kidding, people should just update it.
To be honest when I reinstalled through steam, it had a fairly recent version of the game and didn't need to update all that much
