This is my current rough plan. The general idea is to have the main building on an elevated plateau with both an exterior and interior courtyard. The main path diverges in the exterior courtyard to encourage exploration the fountains, the wood, and the lake but converges again in the interior courtyard.

Soo... This is my idea. Whole area is surrounded in the ocean as well as the mountains, which provides protection from all the wraiths. The main building is a typical chinese house. It's not an mansion or anything like that, but it is the biggest build. As you go down the path, there are two smaller buildings which can be used as storage houses or guest houses. Not far from it is a temple. Again, it isn't one filled with gold, its rather simple and well suited for its purpose. There is also a portal which let's the owner and guest to come on and off the island. And finally, we have the farms near the rivers which provides good land for farming.
