Please Feel Free to Update If needs Be. Please note this is not the Official Info and as such you should keep checking for updates. This Thread is incase the GMs Forget and to remind players.

Update:

The East Coast Servers will be down from 11pm to appoximately 2am. (3 hours)

The West Coast Servers will be down from 2am to approxicately 5am. (3 hours)

This information comes from Domino, so it's totally legit.
Sylen

Quick Warning Some Possible Time Zone Changes overnight may affect the servers. Please be prepared for this if it does happen. ( Looks to be only (US) servers ) This will most likely happen before 1am as the servers have to be off-line when the time change happens or they will mess up. (This is based using info from previous time changes) Please allow a fair time before the servers come back on-line.

**ALSO Please check your NW times as they run under CET which does not change until March 27.

    As for the Question.

Mmm not trying to scare anyone but is not this kind of dangerous for all the cross server events. What I mean is:
if they change some servers times and those time are not synchronized correctly with the cross server, was not a chance for data corruption, character loss, etc...?

As I say Im not trying to scare anyone but I remember reading something like that on the forum when Cross Nation Wars was being implemented.

I'm pretty sure the servers will be synced properly with EU before cross-server starts.

I'll be sure to bring this up with Domino next time we chat though, just to be on the safe side.

yeah im thinking the same thing, but someone in faction brought up that even though it'll be +1 hr for Us but the Eu time stays the same. wouldnt that make it earlier than later?

Right now it's 117 am for me in South Dakota

Right now it's 817 am for my fiancée in Germany

In twelve hours it will be 217 pm for me in South Dakota

In twelve hours it will be 817 pm in Germany.

That's my logic base. Cross NW is from 820 to 1020 pm Europe time

No, because I last talked to Domino late last night. I will ask him later this morning after I'm sure he's had time to wake up and have coffee at least.

This is how the time zone affects me. 90% of the time after doing any cross server event I dont transition out of it. My daily quests are messed up (bh turns into a scroll book) and this doesnt clear up until 11:20 pm my time. In other words when the west coast server catches up with the european server. It affects my active points and makes my recovery stone worthless. I have reported this prior and evidently this isnt deemed important enough to fix. PWI must think there are lots of people doing their daily BH at 11:30pm. If I had my way we would forget about any cross server event and go back to the old ways. Especially since the EU server will always win NW due to their playing time of 8pm. It is not an equal playing field.

In my State we are normally on Mountain time but we do not observe daylight savings time so we are on Pacific time currently.

Muricans who think world revolves around them. NW is on European timezone, which will change on 27th, hence there gonna be couple odd weeks where NW is "hour late" when in reality your clock is just hour ahead till 27th.

Ps. Pretty sure 11.20 is usual west coast starting time, not east coast for that matter.

I hate time changers as it put Celestial TIgers out for us in New Zealand. Didn't come online yesterday as was sick, asked hubby to log me in to get check in for 4 leaf clover and he was too late! Now we just missed Tigers, and as my husband works till 5pm NZ time he will miss every week till 3rd March till we set times back.

That wasn't the point I was making. Putting ur 2 pennies into the conversation without fully understand just make u sound like an idiot. And just because I play on east coast server that make me an American? Ur an idiot. I won't even waste my time explain to you what my point was.

There's still a few issues that we're working on over the past Daylight Savings maintenance. More information will be available tomorrow.

I would guess we may have to wait till the 27 for some things to be fixed?

@thenamesdomino has Dragons Conquest be reactivated? Nothing again in the patch notes.

    Update:
Thanks for the System Messages Regarding time zones! Nice idea!
