Just wondering if anyone else is getting this issue? Every time i open a new tab window of a thread, i get the pop up saying "leave page stay on page". Started yesterday for me.

I have the same issue since yesterday but only on chrome. i started firefox and it works like normal.
Also im using the enhancer but i disabled it just to make sure its not it and the problem remained.
Also chrome did not make an update in that time it just... kind of happened.
what the f***?0 -
PWE is once again trying to force those of us who use the enhancement to be slowed down with the bulky page embed with Arcgames.com.
If you want the speed back, simply add this to adblock...*forum.arcgames.com/*/js/embed.js *forum.arcgames.com/*/themes/Arc/js/custom.js

The discussion on it is in the Arc forum.0 -

It's a known issue that popped up yesterday. I'm working on a fix but for now you either have to use the adblock solution or use the normal embedded version of the forums at http://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/pwi/Are you by any chance using the plugin @asterelle made?
You can just look at his title to identify him as an Enhance user.0 -
thank you @sylenthunder and @asterelle . Glad it worked for you as well @razzzza . Will check out the topic and will check out for solutions there first in the future.0

Quick noob question, where do i add the above code in the adblock? I went to filter preference, created a new filter, added those two lines as two different filter rules. When i close firefox and open it again, the pwi forums do not show up.
For some odd reason i can not comment on the arc forum page you provided @sylenthunder . There is no comment window, no log in option, i can only view that topic.
If i disable the filter, i can not access the topic on the arc forum, it redirects me to pwi forums main page. If i enable the filter, the topic opens up, but can't comment on it.
If i disable the filter, open the forums, and enable the filter, the forums work fine. Am i missing something here?0 -
There's the rub. Until you have cookies for being logged into each separate forum, you have to first visit it with the embed and logged in. Then you open the forum without the embed so it uses your cookies. With the plain forum and no embed, there is not a way to log in. (New "security feature" since they re-split all the forums again. (Yeah, that's your PWE dev team dollars at work. First get rid of the forums that worked perfectly fine for the most part to "unify" all the forums. Then go and break the forums several times over in an attempt to fix them. Then when you've finally got them mostly fixed, split them up again and break it all over. And then, once it's finally about fixed once more, force the damn embed and break it again. Then after a while of the forum running about half-fixed, force the embed even harder.)
When I added it into ABP, I used the "Edit filters as raw text" option on the "Add your own filters" tab. The issue is in the convoluted steps you have to take to make sure it all works just so. Even then, about once every two or three weeks, you'll "lose" the cookie with your login info, so you'll have to repeat the login process.
Just to clarify that process a bit...
1. Temporarily disable ABP. (Otherwise the forums won't show up, which is a new "feature" since their latest "update".)
2. Go to http://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/pwi/ (Or whatever PWE forum it is you wish to be logged into.)
3. Log in.
4. Right-click on the frame on the page where it is actually the forum, and not the embed. Select the "View Frame Source" option and it will open the HTML for the frame in a new tab. ("View Page Source" will work as well, but frame source is easier to find the link.)
5. Re-enable ABP.
6. In the Frame Source tab, underneath a handful of css stylesheet links you will see the following line.<link rel="canonical" href="http://forum.arcgames.com/pwi/categories" />
7. Click on the hyperlink and it will open the forum without the embed, and you will be logged in.
