Just logged in after the update. I have searched the forums and I don't see any mention that the value of Mirage Celestones will be zero 0 after this update.
Is this an issue that will be fixed????
Thank you for a kind response.

It was very likely intentional. Not that anyone would ever NPC them anyway. Make loads more at catshops.0

It would be nice now if they brought back the free talisman daily now that you can't bot it for free coins. Except make that quest all-class.0 -
This content has been removed.

You don't have to set a shop, just sell to the shops who buy.
But I also think prices will decrease very soon, and very probably below 10k.0 -

I actually dont know why this dont get more attention..
Mirage Celestones are a reward for BH for example and just with this patch the income just went poof aswell. i was lucky to sell my leftover mirages (25.000 mirages that is) to catshops near arch elder for the regular price but alot of guild mates and friends hit it like a wreckingball and everyone is buying those for way less now (7000-2000 and droping with every day).
so the 600.000~700.000 coins you got from BH just went to 420.000-120.000 depending on how high the catshops are buying those.
NPC price is obviously 0 now so... i assume they keep droping in price until we reached a very low in those. only good thing i can see is when they got so low that you can refine your gear more often and fail without losing 10.000 coins each try but i rather have some money. now its just the 2m and 5m cards which give you money and i have yet to get a 5m card since the patch lol.0 -
So the forced coin sink is working as expected then.
Expect more, right up until any item you can sell to an NPC will be 0 coins. Maybe gold prices will come back down to AH levels so the casual player can survive again.0 -
eeehhhh i cant imagine what you come up with what casuals can still farm to earn money. i was all up with the nerfs that hit the botters hard and i can understand that but this?
I dont know man but something like powerfarm TT/lunar or something dont fit the title "casual" well. and pls dont bring up merching to the table.0 -
Botters farm mirages. This also wouldn't be the first time they've nerfed mirages due to the botters. If you've got one of the good bots, it's pretty easy to set it up for AFK TT/Lunar runs.
Most "casual" players don't CS, don't merch, and only play a few hours a week. The game is pretty damn near impossible for them to keep up in it's current state.0 -
KoS Jolly Old Jones.ZentVedr - Retired at last. Or am I?0

I'm a "casual" player because I have a job... so I have money to spend on entertainment. Since I can't spend a lot of time in the game and hate merchants, but I enjoy playing, I put money into the game occasionally. The removal of ways for casual players to earn money in game and the insane prices of boutique items have effectively driven me and my wallet away. I can do all of the pve content I want at this point, but my motivation to upgrade/cash will not be there without a price reduction. I'm sure I'm a minority, but I'd bet I'm not the only one. If there are a lot like me, pwe is shooting their own foot by not adjusting prices.102/101/102 cleric0

Nope you are not the only one.
Im like you (im putting more playing time into this game though with farming and stuff) and was putting some cash in this game here and there but honestly now i would not even know what to get.
The prices are so high especially for the new star chart stuff which should be waay cheaper but like this my 20 bucks or whatever could barely buy me anything. i have to put in way more to get a decent amount but im not willing to do that. at that point i just take the freebies and get my gear very slowly. and with the recent NW token dilemma i probably wont get g16 cube neck because the seal of war prices just skyrocket on dawnglory. look at the catshops, they are insane and WC they atleast doubled the price and im not willing to pay 10m and up for a single seal of war.0 -
Prices won't go down while Jolly Jones exist0

well prices fell quite a bit already, I had 160m worth in my bank, and my partner 190m. Ticket to support, usual bs reply.0
