Quadruple the ping, the horrible suffixes without giving name change stones, event times I don't even care about. I made my characters on East coast server for a reason. All other servers have way too high a ping to be playable. Now without any choice in the matter you have thrown all my time and money into the wind. Can't play at all there is 3-4 second delay to everything I do on new server. No choice but to quit playing. No alternative offered, no way am I going to move to another server and spend another few grand to get anywhere close to where I am today. Anyway, QQ over thanks for wasting the last 7 years of my life. Cheers.

    On the trollish node: finally some justice for the EU players who had to keep hearing the "deal with it" excuse. Doesn't feel so great now does it, to be forced to play on a server you don't want to play due to ping and/or event times?

    On the serious node:
    Yes it sucks. I hope as well they bring a server transfer option because i'd love to move to the EU server for a long time now, because I started out on Dreamweaver because I didn't have the option when I started to play on a EU server, and I don't feel like starting over completely, losing all I had when it comes to gear.

    The name thing I also agree, they should make something that you can have at least 1 free name change, be it through a web form or be it through a bound identity stone that also is unstashable.

    Will be a long time before we will see any action, if any at all.​​

    Looks like the ping isn't really as bad as you are making out.
    Or maybe it's something with your route to the server.

    (BTW, just for reference, I'm in the Great Lakes area)​​

    I love having more people but the lag....and yes it says 125ms for me too on the server screen, as soon as I am actually in the game however, the lowest I've seen it drop to is 400. I live in eastern Tennessee.

    Those numbers aren't really much of an accurate representation anyway.
    You're better of running a command prompt and pinging the server than looking at the number shown in-game.

    Unfortunatelly for you manual patches are not available since ages. China doesnt send those anymore.
    Try other solutions like maybe unistall and install the game again or something else.

    The ONLY solution is to enable server transfer with eligibility and restrictions... Ex:

    - You can't transfer your characters if you are in a faction or married...
    - You must not have gold in AH, no items in AH or commission shop...
    - If someone has your name on the server you going to, you get a free name change...
    etc...

    This should not be a boutique item but an option on the arc sites, and when we log in we chose our new server after being eligible for the server transfer.

    Sylen, try actually logging in first. My ping on log-in screen was something like 125 and then I log in and it's like 400-600 constantly. I'm in that same general area of the US as well.​​

    I can verify the same thing happens to me. Ping between 100-150 at selection screen but once i'm ingame it's 400-700.

    I woke up into pvp this morning and killed some PVE Carebear EU Scum. I didn't pvp at my best as I litterally no joke just woke up lol but i crushed many in that time and died a bunch too. But it was fun. But as per the original poster I would like to make note: I also noticed a significant delay when opening catshops and using skills in PVP. A bunch of times I died simply because my pots / skills / genie was 2-5 second delay.

    The ping of the overall server may show a bit lower than it actually is somehow. Because my ping from looking at the server outside the game shows 200 "which is 170 higher for me than normal i normally had 16 - 33 ping - Now i have 200 Minimum and like up to 600 / 700 in pvp ... I had fun but I was more laughing at the sad reality how **** over the usa players got. There isn't even a word for the level of screwed we got. I Hope to see some free name change stones soon because this **** is out of control.

    At least they chose a good time to finally release the faction rename stones "which was released last year in china".     ​​

    TBF When I open client says "32 ping", once actually logged on can be 10x that +. My ping on speedtest = 31.

    That usually occurs when your CPU is overloaded/underpowered. Basically, the CPU isn't able to process all the data and it's so bad it's slowing down the main bus and network data transmission.​​

    Dawnglory server is sucks, in the server screen it's appears 250 ms ~ 300 ms but in the game without doing anything its says 400 ms ~ 500 ms and in PvP mode (fighting with other person) this increase to 1.000 ms ~ 1.500 ms and sometime it increase to 3.000 ms ~ 5.000 ms...I am from South America (in a specific location: Venezuela) and i have chosen Harshland by the ping and the Horary of the Event (well, the horary i dont care much) but with the lag it not let me play. I WANT A TRANSFER TO TIDESWELL!!!!!!

    I logged into this EU server from east coast, i had 663 MS (that dont go lower). How the players living in US will do it? They played since this game came out (more than 6 years) and now you transfer them into hell where they can't play anymore... I said the solution so many times... We need server transfer option (ANY online games offer this nowadays, the most populated, least populated and the newest offer it) here are the restriction and eligibilities:
    - You can't transfer your characters if you are in a faction or married.
    - You must not have gold in AH, no items in AH or commission shop.
    - If someone has your name on the server you going to, you get a free name change.

    I don't approve the fact that PWE forced you to change timezone. But regarding the ping you shouldn't have that much issue if your connection is average.
    Even before the merge there were people from Canada/USA that were playing on EU server without having any problem. Lot of guys from Quebec that wanted to be in french speaking faction or even guys from the US that just preferred the EU times for events. There are also people from Africa, Asia, Australia that manage to play with a descent ping.
    I haven't really had time to play yesterday, but maybe server is just laggy for everyone because of the new people. It was exactly what happened after the merge between Lothranis and Momaganon.

    Think that is not really the best way to start your post if you want people to take you serious, is it?

    From a "PVE Carebear EU Scum" myself and to keep your level, I can tell you to:
    • start on a new server
    • uninstall and go play something else

    Don't forget it wasn't the EU players who decided about the server merges...

    BTW, you should correct your signature, almost sure it was MerciliosHL2 or something...

    I won't be spending anymore. The server delay is terrible. The only shining hope is that when we do cross server events it will be on USA SERVERS meaning no lag YO SHAAA!!!!!!

    My only point is this is only a rant, a rant which won't take you anywhere and you are taking it at the wrong people, which will come back at you with the type of reply I just wrote.

    I think this rant, morai vs harshlands, to check who is right and who is wrong has no meaning...
    As you said, only thing that changed for me was the server name, but I can see why it makes you upset even if I think the ping excuse is more about "oh I have to cross an ocean to get to server so I have bad connection", well, in short I think its wrong to send someone from east region to eu region... But good luck in getting things solved with this kind of posts

    Ah thanks for the feedback - but the truth is the change is done and was done intentionally and unless GM's start offering server transfers then it will never be solved.

    For the record if server transfers were offered my entire faction would be migrated instantly to the east coast USA servers.    ​​

    I can not believe the lag is this bad I thought the serer time would be my worst enemy but I was wrong. My ping is constantly jumping between 215-2890 I never thought it would have gotten this bad at times I am not even able to type in game the typing will show up 2minutes later. I hope that they will make a server transfer stone or DO SOMETHING. My graphics are all the way of I have no idea what to do at this point. Any other suggestions to help my ping since I am forced to play on this server?
