There are environmental (physical) conditions for complex chemicial structures. Early life might have established in ice, but not in fire/gas.

Imo only the nature of carbon allows complex structures which are needed to evolve life (in theory silicium might work too, but chemical reactons based on silicium would be very sluggish, chains of silicium are rigid).

Life = very, very fast and complex but directed chemical reactions. You need small reaction chambers to let those reactions happen (= vesicles/cells/subcellular structures). Those structures can't establish/evovlue in high temperatures. The entropy would be too high.

My way of argumentation is a theoretical analysis ofc. Law of nature is everywhere the same in our universe, but we can't prove anything.

@bigguns1 I didn't know being on the National Merit Honor society was a compromisation xD.

I 'think' the term you were looking for there was 'which is comprised of', 'which encompasses' or ;'which is composed of', etc.
(I was not part of that society, however I did make the Dean's List of Honors in college during the short period I did attend)

I am one of those people who likes to mess around in world chat, I play the game to have fun and do so in any way I see fit. I have never really had any complaints, and most of the people who truly know me personally, adore my spunky, fun-loving personality, and know not to take my WC trolling seriously. If you don't respect someone's inherent right to freedom of speech, then why should they respect you?

I am also a 25 year old college drop out and it is my opinion that a lot of (NOT ALL) degrees are absolutely NOT proof that you know more than someone without a degree. Especially someone that has spent as much, or more than, the time you spent studying in that particular field. I let my work and reptutation speak for itself, and if someone chooses not to hire me based on the lack of a piece of paper, it's their loss. (mind you my profession does not require a degree to be practiced legally) It's a fact that all this knowledge and research started somewhere. If you go back far enough, the person publishing their findings, experiments, etc. did not have a degree.

If and when 'the computer systems' go down ALOT of degrees will be worthless as well. There will be pretty much no way, other than your reputation and accomplishments in the field, to prove you are certified and your degree is not counterfeit. In theory, people will have to revert to the system of apprenticeship and reputation in that field which is based on real life experiences, referrals, and physically, (not electronically) documented materials. Not a degree that (debatably) shows you can competently practice in that field.

Another thing to consider is that it the electronics systems ever did go down, it would only be a matter of time before our technologically advanced society got it back up and running, if not in full, very large networks minimally. Well I suppose it would depend on the situation.

By the way @bigguns1 I am not trying to say that you are not intelligent, everyone makes mistakes, I am just pointing out that narrow minded views, such as the one you have portrayed, have a VERY important place in an advancing and intelligent society.

It is my opinion, that narrow-minded views should serve (very importantly) as a warning and lesson to future generations.

I am not an english major or buff so please excuse my improper use of punctuation and grammar, sometimes I get carried away when sharing my opnions.
