Invite a friend system

I was wondering if the invite a friend system is a temporary addition to the game or a permanent one?

So they only started giving rewards about a month ago? Any idea if the reward part of invite a friend is permanent or not?

As far as I'm aware, it's pretty much always been there, they just don't always "feature" it. (Verified a year or so ago by the acting CM at the time, but finding the post for that now in the current forum state will be darn near impossible.)
To the bet of my knowledge, the rewards are permanent and not time-restricted, but PWE seems to always be changing what they do with the rewards. Most likely it's a perm item that can't be traded-shashed-ect.

I have reason to think the rewards are going to stop on 7/1. Only like 75% sure though.

Are you talking about this program, or the one where you invite a new friend to play?

Edit: Found an old post from the "Refer a Friend" program I initially thought you were speaking of. Looks like it didn't make the change to Arc.
