  • The thing is that Neverwinter was too easy for too long - some ppl got used to that, some didn't. We have some new players who joined this game during that easy period and they just logged in, jumped into a group of mobs losing maybe 1 bar of hp and regained that from life steal. They don't remember the time when game was…
  • I think that dungeons should offer more variety instead of just pummeling through different mobs to get to boss fights. Some ideas below (I could have seen it in different games so sorry if you notice sth familiar): - jumping on moving platforms which can be deadly and using elevators to the higher ground - hidden hints or…
  • I'm not saying that dailies should take ages to complete but killing mobs with one encounter got old pretty quickly. You didn't need to use any dodges, barriers or any other stuff because difficulty was laughable. In mod 6 there are new instances, new greater artifacts and a lot of new stuff to get or refine. Now players…
  • Let me guess what comes next ...
  • With Tymora Lucky Coin and Adorable Pocket Pet we already have 2 slots occupied. Now any type of healing potion and it's full. I think that number of slots on your belt should increase with the quality of your belt. Green - 1 slot, Blue - 2 slots, Purple - 3 slots. Artifact Belt Green - 4 slots, Artifact Blue - 5 slots,…
  • Imperial vs Greater Imperial at rank 1 Remember that "Greater" is almost certainly not a final rank which means that in future mods you will feed your Greater Cloak to the Major? one and later Major to sth else. It also means that even if you get lucky and do that only during double refinement (which they placed before mod…
  • Are you serious? Have you read your own sentence? If you don't know yet feeding normal artifact with another normal artifact of the same type gives you a value multiplied by 5. I don't see why it shouldn't be changed for Cloaks and Greater Cloaks of the same type (for example Imperial or Black Ice).
  • I know how it used to be but mod 6 brings so many changes to the table that I foolishly expected devs to show a good will and allow us to feed it without losing any RP. After all our gear was expected to increase in ranks and not get replaced completely.
  • Does it give 1:1 RP ratio? Otherwise I won't bother making my new cloak level 40 with my old legendary one.
  • Well it sounds good but on the other hand "reputation" by definition is sth you earn and not buy. You work for Caer Konig and earn their trust and reputation - at least that's how I see it.
  • I would love to revisit Pirate's Skyhold - it's my favorite map :)
  • I had mixed feelings about this but now I feel like it's a good change. No one needed a healer DC or a GF - ppl just farm content with parties made mostly of wizards and don't need any potions in PvE. Because why would you occupy your slot with a healer or a tank if the next wizard will allow you to do it much faster. Now…
  • It's the whole point of progression, old sets become obsolete or simply worse and there is sth to look forward to. I'm a big fan of Avatar of War but I wasn't really happy to see all other sets fall flat in PvE for 2 years. New sets were not comparable to active bonus provided by that set so I think it's finally a good…
  • Feedback: Life steal. Too soon to say but for now it looks good for my GWF. Having 10% life steal chance means that from time to time I need to use a potion but content isn't extremely difficult so putting more points in some defensive stats helps a lot. Maybe healing or tanking companions and healers and tanks in general…
  • 1. I'm happy to see some trees instead of sand so can't really complain about the new zone although it's an exact copy of Blackdagger Ruins with many groups of mobs packed in rather close distances. 2. Mobs in this area are mostly copied and pasted from other maps - there are some Trolls with slightly changed colors,…
  • My question is if new level 120 artifacts go beyond a legendary level starting from level 60 or is 120 a new legendary level? If level 120 is a new legendary level our already legendary items would become epic which means that for each normal legendary artifact we lose 500k AD (5 greater mark of potency which we spent to…
  • Feedback GearScore After 2 years of looking at gearscore and measuring changes made to it you introduce sth else. Can't say I'm excited about it but we will see. Players got used to that metric and amount of posts about gs doesn't come from respective amount of people actually playing NW. If you made an ingame poll - with…
  • Bump for the same problem. I'm using Heart of the Black Dragon artifact and in Action Point Gain I can see 400 which contributes to 5% APG. However under Offensive and Healing section my action point gain doesn't change and keeps saying 0% + the same value as before.
  • People who sell their companions for nothing during those events make me really happy. Other than that it was a really nice event with some battlefield medics, wandering scarecrows, preservation wards and countless retraining tokens. I haven't spent a penny for parcels so it's a huge profit from my perspective. And most of…
  • I know, right? In one of rather popular threads someone wrote - "no one cares fo PvE anymore" and there was not even a single reply to that. As for SW it looks like this class can't really defend itself in PvP and I say this from a PvE GWF/DC perspective with no tenacity. Casting time is awful and if you catch them with…
  • The problem with buffing a class PvP wise is the fact that it also gets buffed PvE wise. Sadly you don't have PvE and PvP versions of spells which would be rather easy to implement. It's like with normal/empowered/divine versions of spells for clerics. Why we don't have it already is beyond my imagination. What we get…
  • Actually Castle Never should be buffed - it's so easy these days. With constant stream of T2 items from Tiamat and from the auction house (full set for 100k and below) we don't have any problems with dungeons. We don't even need potions. We have a gear which gets better and better and we have a content which gets easier…
  • You should have some spare tomes of experience. Other than that leveling in this game is crazy fast since everything gives xp. I easily outleveled most skirmishes cause I wanted to see every corner of the map.
  • It was a breath of fresh air after sands of Well of Dragons. I will miss this Twilight Run or fishing. Thank you for that event :)
  • Maintenance started like 2 minutes earlier - it's not a big deal but I needed that time to receive gifts on my last toons.
  • Ok, thanks for your answer. I tried to calculate it on my own since Kaelac's graph ends at 12k power and I'm still looking for sth to boost my overall dmg. I like your build because I'm a big fan of crit rating and I'm using a very similar one with some small differences - for example Heart of the Black Dragon + Vanguard…
  • Avalanche of Steel is not that great since damage is bigger than Slam but on the other hand you are able to hit your targets while slaming. Slam lasts 10 seconds so you have a 25% buff to your power for 10 seconds. With Sigil of the Devoted you are easily able to use another Slam right away. That said both dailies are…
  • First of all Indomitable Strength is Iron Vanguard and this guide is about Swordmaster. Secondly since when having more power doesn't contribute to your damage? I'm still waiting for my answer lazaroth :)
  • What about using Battle Awareness feat and Slam for 25% bonus power? Since action point gain is pretty high and you already use Sigil of the Devoted you would have 25% more power almost all the time. Wouldn't that contribute to more dmg?
  • There is nothing wrong with gearscore as long as you are above a certain required cap for some dungeons or skirmishes and you know what you are doing. Many games are based on gs system so I don't see the problem here. I like to watch gearscore of players - not because I have some amazing toon because I don't but just out…
