I was planning to try out the new class. I may not get to it. The Devs at Gazillion are giving a whole new meaning to "Communication" with regards to Marvel Heroes. Aside from the "Dev Blog" stating what is being worked on, they spend quite a bit of time on the forum talking to players. While this undoubtedly takes time…
'dying' in GW2 is apparently moving from one new live event to the next while almost constantly balancing skills. Neverwinter needs to do more of this 'dying' stuff.
I haven't logged in for a couple weeks. I poke around on the forums every once in a while. I'll be around the forums until the first major update. If it doesn't pull me into the game, I'll just uninstall and move on.
People can either voice their displeasure here or on the many, many other video game forums around the internet. It's not like Free player opinions cease to exist if they don't post on this forum.
Control Wizard is boring as snot cakes... and snot cakes are pretty boring. You shove things around like a sissy. I'd go with the GWF. Buy a Cleric Hireling and send it to yourself. Buy a #$%^ ton of potions, what else are you going to use that gold on? First Skill purchase should be "Mighty Leap." Get the daily "Slam" at…
"It JUST launched! All MMOs have major bugs at Launch!" "It's only been live for 6 Months! WoW had far more bugs than this 6 months after launch!" "It's only been a year! Many MMOs still have bugs after a year!" "Oh Yeah?!? Find me an MMO Without bugs!" We've all done this dance. Let go of the "But it's Beta!" HAMSTER. The…
Different people in a company work on different things. I doubt the dude who models companions will be of much help trying to figure out which part of the game code is causing a bug.
The game feels like it was created in independent chunks. The leveling pace doesn't match the crafting. The crafting doesn't match the equipment variety a class would want. The classes don't match the PvE content. The PvE content simply isn't as good as many of the Foundry Missions. Foundry Missions give pathetic rewards.…
The game mechanics need to be changed before Fighters will become useful. Increasing Damage and Threat isn't going to make them more useful than Rogues or Wizards.
Company profits are tied in with the Economy. If exploiters break the economy (Tons of AD and End Game Gear), fewer and fewer people will be willing to spend money on this game. The less money this game makes, the less Devs working on it, the slower you get content (new classes, End Game, Foundry Tools, etc.) The health of…
That wasn't very nice. I was only trying to help. I would like to thank fordraine and trickshaw for the info. I was basing it off the animation instead of the charge bar.
Reaping Strike hits like a truck and gives bonus determination when hit. I even occasionally use it against single targets to get my Determination up that much faster. Works great for those Orcs with the Multihit AoE Cone (Taskmasters.) The only real downsides are the very slow movement and Unstoppable doesn't allow it to…
Why do you guys try to tank trash/adds? The GWF has no problems playing with trash through Unstoppable and high deflection, Rogues won't really have aggro on a group, Control Wizard has CC and you guys are griping about Clerics tanking everything anyway.
You might be trying to avoid too much damage. I generally only block attacks that knock me around. I walk out of red areas, without blocking, to avoid that damage, if I can. Otherwise, I have found that trying to avoid damage is counter productive while soloing because the fights last longer... giving the enemies more time…
I don't mind multiple Wiki on games I play. The Official one has Links to pretty much everything on the main page. nwowiki.co also has a fairly easy navigation page. neverwinteronline.wikia.com (this one) isn't user friendly enough. "Main Menu" doesn't even have a single sentence, let alone links to the various game…
Websites get revenue from those Ads. I use NoScript but, I allow ads through on websites I frequent. It doesn't hurt me to have Ads on the sides or just above the forum I visit. I occasionally learn about new games through Ads.
Yeah, if there are going to be Raids, I want 20+ people involved. However, I don't want 20 people going to kill... a single boss. That just makes me feel pathetic - I am 1/20th as powerful as a single Villain? I don't want to get ready for the "DPS Phase." Raids should be more like taking on an Army - Castle Siege or…
