They built the entire game around Bosses with 3 abilities, massive hps, massive amounts of dmg inc, and adds. Not sure what people expected or how they didn't see something like this coming. Everyone knew the healing nerf was inc because of all the *****ing about it...and now everyone gets to see just how subpar healing…
That would be held by the first boss in BWL in WoW. Must be where the devs here got the idea to just load the screen with adds in every instance on every boss they ever create or will create. You don't have to pay for conceptual talent when you can just get a guy to create a boss that spawns adds and spams 1-2 abilities…
You're not going to see another class until they fix the current ones. You'll see the ranger with their first "expansion" guaranteed..just look at the name of it.
Eh? Leveling up a GWF now and letting my DC sit ready for T2's. I can for certain say that the GWF is underpreforming compared to just about all the other classes but I wanted to see what all the hubub is about anyhow. It's not as bad as people say either. If you are scared to hit 60..just do what I did...PvP from 50-60…
Basically, they need more content. The problem is...the leveling is fast as hell, which isn't a bad thing but you have to have enough content to support a super fast leveling curve at end game, which...they do IF...there wasn't the mass amount of exploits that ran rabid. Between the 1-shotting GF bug that basically flooded…
Well..then the people designing "cosmetic" and "Zen content" are apparently working and can code 3000X faster than the rest of the dev team. Besides the exploits and a very limited amount of other bugs...what have they done other than drop a new zen item every other day?
$60.00 on the guardian pack and not a dime or astral diamond since and not going to until they start to class balance among the slew of other things that need to happen..because for 1) they will have to give a free respec out once they fix all the broken powers and feats 2) $40.00 for a mount is straight stupid....let's…
Well the respec for $6.00 in this game is absurd and that's putting it lightly. Respecs should cost $1.00 or be put in the game for gold. I laugh every single time I open the store and see a respec for $6.00 and then next to it a perma-character slot for $5.00.
LOL...if WoW were released today in the same condition it was when it actually did release...it would fail...period. It was one of THE worst launches if not THE worst in MMO history.
I agree..they just need to call it release and be done. I don't get the whole BETA situation at all...I'm trying to comprehend it and can't because it's not BETA. What exactly have they done to "change" the game at all other then networking improvements and "fix" exploits. They'll add the other class or classes soon..but…
Agree. Here's the thing..the blog is very opinionated but who cares...well actually there are quite a few people that care...especially a moderator showing pure unadulterated fanboism. The basis behind it all is that this is not a BETA even though they've tagged it as a BETA...and it's not...the game is…
Right...and all the other examples end with: it was fixed. This is the second Cryptic game this has happened in....this same exact exploit..so apparently it wasn't fixed. Everyone gets that there are bugs, exploits, yadda yadda in every single game made. The fact that this exploit..on a cash shop game..hinders more than…
Cryptic just needs to make Epics BoP outside of crafting and "random" drops..boss level drops should all be BoP and make sure they don't have a highschool kid program the AH program that allows negative values. That..pretty much null and voids all the exploits that have been coming about that actually effect everyone not…
Screw UO and I raise you MajorMud. Also..DAOC pre-TOA expansion was the best MMO to date. In the end though..who really cares if someone has played **** near every MMO that has graced the market or not..the flaws of this game are obvious. There have been 5 major exploits found within weeks of launch (yes, launch..everyone…
Complete wipe, refund all zen purchases, guardian pack purchases, patch the Epic gear to be BoE unless crafted, and then get ready for a mass amount of chargebacks and outrage from promising no character wipes after the 25th of last month. Either way PWE at this point is in a very bad situation. Rolling back the servers…
I agree...the bosses fights are nothing but an add fest. You may have to slide in and out of a few one shot circles as a DC but other than that..put your astral shield down, hit the boss with a few spells and rinse and repeat until it's over..and that's the entirety of the game...BUT....it's free and the leveling process…
How about just wait till the prices drop..which they will and they will start holding sales when they realize no one is dropping the cash. With the tooltips they provide...sure..I want to respec a few points..but I honestly don't think it's going to make or break your character by any means.
Welp...now the launcher is doing the same thing. Re'dled the game and did a complete reinstall with the link provided in the beginning of this thread. Launcher goes to trying to connect..waits about 30 seconds..then opens to a white window.
It's not BETA. They can call it Open BETA all they want..it's launch. There are no wipes and people that paid received their head start...it's launch..and I think that needs to be straightened out. Also..the people that forked over $200.00 were told they "should" and "would" get queue priority straight out of the companies…
They had a similar targeting system in TERA and I never had a problem getting the correct heals going to the person in need. However something seems a tad bit amiss here as it can be a nightmare. I think part of the problem compared to say TERA was is when you activated the heal and then swooped over a friendly target it…
I played with the mage and did notice some issues. The mage companion at least would not attack at the clerics full range. You either had to run forward drawing the companion into range or wait until the mobs were within range of the mage. Once they were..like others have said..maybe I was expecting more AOE dmg and/or…
The 75% debuff was way way way way way overdone and if they are going to keep it that way..they are officially crazy and as much as they say they want the game to succeed and need feedback..then go and say it's working as intended with the feedback they've received..again...they are crazy. For a cleric to heal itself full…
Halfling...because I like to be the guy that people say...Why the F#E$# would someone do that. I played a dwarf during this beta...and unless gear is broken and not scaling correctly with clerics..it doesn't matter at this point. So we'll see what they do...on release i'll be deciding between a halfling and a…
