It just happened to me in normal temple of the spider. I get in the dungeon and I'm in my own group. I wasn't able to leave the group so I just teleported out. When I wanted to try again, all I received was "return to instance". This happened to me before. I was blocked from entering the final boss area.

The big problem was that my dwarf lost his beard when he wore the elven helmet. I ended up just disabling the visual and he now runs around helmetless with his beard flowing. My only gripe is that the hamster is character bound since my DC that leveled to 70 doesn't really benefit from the hamster's effects. It's still cool that they had a contest for a unique item but an account bound item would have helped my other characters more.
