I noticed the dog got shrunk too, but as it was the only one not sized realistically, I imagine that the original size was unintentional. Ifyou're unhappy with the new size, there are wolf pets that are substantially bigger.
I'm all for the idea of it but the problem, as with any of these sort of polls, isn't that of how many folks want it... they know we want it, but time and resource management. What are we willing to give up so that they'll work on this, first? A prioritizing of how important it is compared to another class or an added race…
To tack on another question... while I understand the basics on how the two currency types work... I'm confused as to why. What purpose does having the two different currencies serve that couldn't be done with just one?
According to the Forgotten Realms wiki, http://forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/Drow, Drow lifespans are usually around 500 or so years, though 900 isn't unheard of. That seems relatively consistent with the various books and other sources. Drow tend to live just a tad longer than other elves, but due to all the infighting…
You could also simply have her farther down the bloodline. The less closely related to the Matron mother of a particular noble house, the less likely they are to care. Not to mention that all drow are not necessarily from a noble house, either. She could just as easily be the child of a merchant/well to do commoner.
There's a couple answers actually. First the mercenary group Bregan D'aerthe is heavily active in Luskan, and with the financial opportunities as well as salvaging presented by the rebuilding efforts, it's entirely concievable that they've expanded south. Also, the drow goddess of good drow sacraficed herself in 4e to…
Armor Dyes and a Cosmetic Outfit slot set are both available for players. Additionally, you can also transfer the 'look' of one piece of gear to another, enabling you to stick with a particular look throughout the game. An editable Biography section is available and can be altered at will. The naming system allows for both…
Interesting! I was rather surprised by the number of Halflings. I had totally expected Humans and Half Elves to dominate for some reason. It seems as though we'll have a good mix though without everyone being the same like in some other games!
It'll be interesting to see how the packs change after the 30th. I wonder if they'll keep the current exclusives or change them entirely. I can't imagine that many people willing to drop down another 200 dollars for a whole new pack, but a new 60 dollar one might be feasible, or access to a special vendor in game that has…
It means waiting or buying the HotN pack, but there's a fair bit of speculation that the second stat option for Drow are +2 Cha/+2 Wis, as compared to the normal +2 CHA/+2 Dex. Haven't played Clerics since... well, AD&D Not sure what all bonuses they get from CHA, but it might be an option.
It's also a matter of timeframe though, and keeping things matching lore to the year they've chosen to set the game in. I agree that it sucks (Helm was always my favorite and was kinda sad to see him go!), but we can't really fault Cryptic for not breaking lore just because it'd be convenient for us. =/ They've already…
He wouldn't be my first pick, but limiting yourself to just those currently implemented, there's Kelemvor, God of the Dead. He's not the god of murder or anything like that, but when all else fails, at least he fits the risk to their lives rogues take regularly in their daily lives.
You'd think they could have done something a -little- more original than the panther at least. There'll already be tons of "Drizzzzt"s, "Dryzette"s and "Drizit"s as it is without fueling the flames. That being said... isn't a riding lizard the usual drow mount? <.< While it gives players who play off character something…
You can still play a common drow female to type, just do so within the frame of the story. You could be a spy sent topside by House Xorllarin. An assassin from House Baerne sent to the surface to hunt down renegades. Our guild for example is mostly Lolth worshipping drow sent to hunt down magical items for Lolth's Demon…
Waukeen is the Godess of Coin and would work well for greed motivated thieves. Tymora is Lady Luck, and might work well for your more chaotic, 'in it for the thrill' sorts, While Beshaba being Tymora's opposite might work well for assassin sorts, as would Shar, Goddess of Darkness and Secrets. Unfortunately, not a one of…
While I completely understand the frustration about any race being blocked for two months, I have to wonder if it's intentionally being done for balance, as well. It seems by and large the most popular of the races, so by putting that 60 day waiting period on them, it forces players to become invested in other races,…
That was kind of my thought, too. Menzo is a living, thriving city whereas Ched Nassad is as far as I'm aware now just a ruin... making it much more suitable for a dungeon crawl.
