Ran the game in safe mode (option in launcher), which allowed me to log on my GWF, and entered a PVP match. Had the issue occur again on the second loading screen that is supposed to take me back to the Protecter's Enclave after the match was done. I can log on my lv 20 cleric just fine (currently also in Protector's…
One of my main problems in PVP domination is that doing the right, smart thing isn't necessarily rewarded. I somehow feel as though going after kills and objective caps, instead of guarding a point whilst everyone else is off doing their own thing, calling stuff out, rushing to assist points that need the support, staying…
Average players should only expect to play any class, especially in pvp, well at best, never great, but most of them expect to faceroll every other class and will whine if they dont't.
I only played my GWF up to level 6, but I loved their second at will power because it actually had me prep my character spatially a little bit by positioning him properly, using the slow aoe encounter ability initially, etc. Hope to see more of that as they level up.
Well, I think comparing it to NWN 1&2 in terms of whether those two titles followed the table top to a tee or not to determine if NWN 3 is close enough to the incarnation it picked to follow (4th ed.) is warranted, because many people will play this game in lieu of a NWN 1&2 experience or the table top game. I know MMOs…
The real problem is 4th ed. They absolutely had to mess with the system for it to transition well into an MMO; daily powers are, after all, really just that in the table top, daily powers.
One of my hopes, and I am not a graphics junnky, is that the game looks like it does in their trailers by the time it goes live. I would also love to see the basic classes by then, at least the ranger since that would give us a ranged striker, but hey, I also love the class, although it was a lot better in 3.5.
I really hope they give us the Ranger first, and fast, before moving on to other, more exotic classes, like Bards, or even Avengers, at some point (my personal favorite). But the basics first, so a Ranger /w a bow.
