You literally just made the post an hour ago. Dozens of these UGC topics are made every day, and a lot of them can be overlooked for a few hours after their creation. It will take time for your creation to gather play-tests and reviews. That being said, I'll run through it right now to get you started. I'll leave my review…
You'd have to custom-spawn a wall and have it as 'Appear - Component Reached', but after a player passes a certain point, it would trigger the Reach Point marker and spawn the wall behind them.
Okay, so because I accidently pressed a button on my keyboard when the review screen popped up, apparently I'm not allowed to write it anymore unless I go through it again. So, until I decide to do that, I'll write my review here. The encounters were nice and varied, though I think some of them might be a bit too difficult…
There should be something in the specific Encounter that says to Appear at 'Dialog Prompt', which means they'll spawn in right after whatever it is you want them to spawn after is said. You'd just need to select the Dialog Prompt itself through the Encounter panel.
Yes, that is an issue with the Foundry client itself. I've been told that even though it doesn't follow you in the Foundry, it will follow you in the quest itself. It's a wonky bit with the Foundry.
Go to the Encounter section under NPC, and search 'Guards' - from there, you can select one of those, and then set them to the 'Follow' command in their individual sections. Since they are an Encounter and Friendly, they will engage in Combat when you do, or when enemies are around them. I believe you can even go into…
I'm not sure if you've done this yet, but you could always edit the description of your Foundry mission to say something along the lines of 'Part 2 of the _________ Campaign', so people who at least read the description or fly over it would get a gist of where they were. Until a more elegant solution can be made, anyways.
Will they actually take damage and/or die, or is that only for certain spawns? I tried having a group of bandits attack/kill a noble and he just stood there and continued getting hit. EDIT: To add onto that, is there a way to make them fight back? They always cower for me.
He speaks the truth! I'll be honest, I have little to no actual knowledge of the world of Faerun or D&D itself, but the quests (as well as the lore entries along the way) have been tremendously helpful in teaching me a lot of different history and lore snippets.
I went ahead and made a review on the Foundry itself (@vendryas) but since the word limit was a bit too short for my tastes I decided to just go ahead and make a similar one here for you as well. I really liked the overall story of the quest, and the dialogue options were plentiful and answered all of the questions that I…
It is certainly an ambitious dream, but probably one that I'd wait on until more zones and modes are added to the Foundry. Hopefully we'll be capable of creating our own zones one day, or at least a place as you described, where players won't have to meet together in a party to find each other in the Foundry area.
