this stood out to me as well. perhaps they simply focused on other aspects? but for me DnD was always about making really unique characters. overall character creation wasn't so sparse. gear on the other hand is disappointing, but this will be resolved with time as they release more skins.

i have a similar issue, however its a bit different. two of my 3 characters can find my quests (published two so far) while the third cannot find it. so it's a publishing issue. try withdrawing it and republishing it or just hit publish again. keep trying and im sure it'll show up eventually.

perhaps there could be an offline version that will update your online version when you sync them. this means you can't change or alter any of the assets (hacking of sorts) because the online version would verify all the components. or am i just praddling on about nonsense?
you can make then vanish when the encounter starts if it is a quest component, "disappear when in progress". they will vanish then the encounter starts.
