That is a hilarious statement and makes me wonder what you've played. I don't find this community 'horrid' at all. Ignore the jerks and move on. As for not talking/typing during a dungeon, I didn't join to have a cup of tea and chat about my day with random people.

Purple Mounts give 110% increased movement speed and that's the only reason you want a mount right? On another point; Any mount you purchase from the Zen store inside the game will be available to every single character you make on your account. Best purchase you can make in the game besides more character slots afaik.
