  • Obviously I'm not annoyed that the blue items are cheap. I'm annoyed that the best items we can get are blue quality items - that we don't have a useful PvP set or useful eqpic quality items.
  • I don't mind the 40% debuff that much, but I mind getting one shotted from stealth with my pvp cleric (dwarf with 29k hp, 2k defense, 12k regeneration and improved foresight). My 2 major complaints are: - Still getting shot-shotted even with the most defensive gear we can equip. - Having to equip blues instead of pvp or t2…
  • We might need a PvP buff. But more importantly, we need different stats on our PvP sets. Life steal does nothing for our survivability. Check out Sogronnwo's thread about using blue regeneration/defense gear. It might not look cool, but it works. Imagine if we could get the same stats on epic quality pvp items - we would…
  • Hi. I posted some steps to clean up the UI and someone else's tip on how to change keybinding of your "lock target" function. Check out this page.
  • Sweet gear, mister :) Here's a note on Healing Action: If you take a peek at Scozzers' thread here, you'll see that the bonus is extremly small, but always rounded up to a full percentage. I've made a graph on this page, where you can see how adding anything else than one point is useless.
  • There's a lot of people who are unhappy about the class - but if you enjoy it, keep it up like the rest of us. If we're so useless, why is it that most of the LFG spam in PE is searching for a cleric. First thing to do is to get a standard build or the Crit build posted on these forums, where you can test what powers you…
  • Clean up your screen 1. Set your allies' health bars as always shown. 2. Set enemies' health bars to "targeted". Changing the keybinding for lock target or lock camera function The following code will change the keybinding when writting into the regular in-game chat bar: /bind ? +HardTargetLock /bind ? ++HardTargetLock The…
  • There's no cap as such, but recovery and crit has some pretty nasty diminishing returns. Power does not. I did some graphs on diminishing returns, and calculated a "break even" point where power and crit is evenly good (compared to improvement in raw healing numbers, nothing else). Diminishing returns Break even point
  • Miracle Healer heals ONE player for 5% of your maximum hit points every time you're using an encounter. They are not gonna fix the set. They will change the tool tip instead. Check out this official thread for patch 3.2xxxxxxxx.
  • Good thought. Here's the data shown with bonus on the y-axis and stat pool on the x-axis showing how the bonus "flattens" off. Critical Strike - Stat Pool vs Bonus Recovery - Stat Pool vs Bonus
  • I have updated the above page with new numbers and better calculations. Here's some new graphs: Critical Strike Recovery The above graphs are based on a circa number of what would have been paid for the previous 1% increase in the bonus at different stat levels.
  • Thanks a bunch. A workaround is always welcome :) Used "/bind MButton +HardTargetLock" to bind it to the middle mouse button.
  • Completely second this. And maybe some useful divine power at wills :)
  • That live launch felt a bit like New Year's eve when someone has bought a massive $100 rocket and all it does is make a little fizz. Where's the new content?
  • There's no soft cap as such. Before the nerf to Astral Shield, you'd go for 3,000+ recovery to have 100% uptime. But now it's more up to when you hit a too expensive diminishing return and what your personal preference is. I did some calculations on diminishing returns some time ago here. The graphs show how much you pay…
  • It's a bit yard to comment before you post what encounters you use :) But here's a few suggestions:* Max out the Foresight feat (tier 2 paragon feat). * Put a point in Cleanse (one is fine) * If you're using Sacred Flame, I would say you should go for Deepstone Blessing rather than Enduring Relief. Take a lookse at this…
  • My point is that you do not use any divine power when activating Linked Spirit with Sun Burst. Throw Sun Burst and pop into divine mode before the animation stops. You will have used 0 divine power and will have boosted the group with a massive amount of stat points.
  • The Lock Target function (CTRL) helps a lot, I think. But it's still not on the list of keybindings, which is a really stupid mistake from PW/Cryptic. Read somewhere that it's "listed as an error that will be fixed post-launch", but it would be nice to have this function mapped to the mouse :(
  • I feel like the standard build still seems fine. This is what I used before the patch and a day or so after. Was perfectly viable: Astral Seal / Brand of the Sun Sun Burst / Astral Shield / Forgemaster's Flame Hallowed Ground / whatever Foresight / whatever But it's fun to try something new, and with Linked Spirit now…
  • You don't have to use divine power to activate Linked Spirit with Sun Burst. Just cast it and switch into Divine Mode before the animation finishes.
  • I've switched to a similar build and currently loving it. I recommend trying it out if you're not liking the patch. Although, my build is a bit different and I'm using Bastion of Health to activate Linked Spirit (no Sun Burst tricks). Really love using Bastion of Health and Sacred Flame again :)
  • With GFs having 35% more aggro and the healing aggro fixed, we're not getting as swamped by adds as before. I guess that was the idea the developers had. It would be nice to have a boost to our pure healing powers since we are stuck with a very limited choice. I would also have loved to see a different AS nerf; e.g.…
  • It's mostly going to be tough on the other classes as we'll be getting less aggro (less AoE healing aggro, more GF aggro). The tough part for us will be all the people unaware of the changes who'll blame us for deaths. I welcome the new change, but I would really love to see a boost in our other powers and maybe healing…
  • Your feat and power build seems fine for PvE healing. Here's my take on a build using Brand of the Sun and the basic healing feats/powers (non-human). As Spani says, Astral Seal and Brand of the Sun is a great combo for generating divine power. If you hate DoTs, go for Sacred Flame and Astral Seal. The general tactic in…

  • 1. Start out with the 3 easy epic dungeons (Crypts, Cloaktower and Throne of Idris) and take it form there. 2. Two pieces of two different ests seems to be the best at the moment due to the +400 two piece bonus. You are correct in stacking recovery at the beginning, since you'll want your cooldown of Astral Shield to be…
  • Foresight is an absolute must. 11% dmg reduction with Benefit of Foresight (tier 2 paragon feat). I use Fervor and Foresight, since I don't really see a difference when using Sooth. Brand of the Sun is amazing. As many other clerics I use Astral Seal and Brand of the Sun. It's lower DPS and no temporary hit points, but the…
  • Great guide - I especially like the section about the control wizard. It's always lovely when you get into a PUG with you, tank, 2 rogues and a GWF. You just know you're gonna spend half the instance skipping away from the minor mobs.
  • I reworked the whole thing about how a feat is highlighted and greyed out, so you can now highlight feats that you don't have access to. I also did a bunch of other minor error fixes. Thanks all for the feedback, it's great to fix stuff before I duplicate it to the other classes.
  • I would advise you to go for two pieces of the recovery set (High Prophet) and then either crit or power set. You should aim for at least 3,000 recovery and at least one feat point spent in Rising Hope (tier one feat in the Virtuous tree). That will enable you to keep up Astral Shield constantly (base stats are 20s…
  • while leveling just grab power/crit/recovery in any random order. Take the item that gives you the highest totalt amount. I second this for endgame priorities. After 3,000 recovery you will have enough time to recast Astral Shield when it expires. As there is no diminishing return on power (1 points of damage/healing per…
