Drake, when you say that it's easier to win an Olympic gold medal than to get a 5 star rating from you, it rather makes me think you're being ridiculously hard on your fellow Foundry authors. I'm not insulting you at all. I'm just saying that...this is no big deal. There's no huge real life reward for creating a stellar…
Seriously, quite a number of people take this way too seriously. So seriously that it embarrasses me for them a little. There is no grand monetary prize, offer of a full time job with PW or any other genuinely tantalizing reward for creating a Foundry dungeon. And it sho ain't the Olympics! Some of these people really need…
Very similar here! My DM's notes very CLEARLY state that it's not intended as a solo adventure, buuuuuttttt still got a 1 star because a guy tried to solo it and had a hard time. I even said up front that it was fast and furious. Doesn't matter. lol Now, that being said, I have been fortunate enough, after some tweaking…
My friend, it never ceases to amaze me (though it shouldn't anymore) that an overwhelming number of people simply DO NOT read the DM's notes you place right there in front of their faces. I'd wager to say that every Foundry author has received at least a 1 star from someone complaining about something difficult in the…
Agree completely, though it's hard to do at times. lol Or how about the reviews that ARE positive yet still give you a poor rating, like, "Great story, great plot and great set design, but I died twice." 1 star. LOL I mean...so you died you big baby. Personally speaking, if someone is going to be that way I'd just rather…
Cynin, I hope you won't mind, but the Undermountain setting was one of my absolute favs in the Forgotten Realms. I may have to make a dungeon or 2 based on it as well. =D I think it's because it reminded me so much of Moria.
Okay, so does anyone know of a fix for this? Is it something going wrong in the story tree page or maybe on a map? A friend of mine tried to play it and it bugged out completely. Logging out and back in didn't help, either.
Same problems here, Lev. Some of my NPC's do their chat and others don't. Set very much like yours. In fact, some of them have their chat bubbles pop up every second or two, literally, when they're supposed to stop for several seconds. This happens even during live runs.
Hey tabris, trying to find your adventure by short code search but it keeps showing 0 result. The search tool is glitched I feel sure, so I'll keep trying. And have fun on holiday! Edited to say: found it and loved it! I placed my comments in your Foundry reply box. :)
I would certainly be willing to help out for some returned reviews. :) Here's mine: Short code: NW-DUAGFE2R9 Name: Hey! What Happened to My Pigs!? Author:thunderknuckles1 Est. Time: 15 mminutes It's essentially a search and rescue mission on the fast and furious side. :) I recommend 2 to 3 players, with one healer.
I couldn't help but wonder why boss encounters weren't included on roll out. They've always been am intrinsical part of most dungeons since the Jurassic era. Is there some special problem with them that they weren't included? Or maybe it was just "first things first so we can get the game out in a timely manner"? I'm…
Maybe I'm too soft, but I tend to give 4 to 5 stars for quests that are obviously a decent try because, as a Foundry dungeon maker myself, I know just how much effort is involved in making even a short duration adventure. I have a whole new appreciation for devs and dungeon designers. Honestly, though, if a quest is very…
That's what I'm going to have to start doing. I tried to work around it with one other problem spot on a third map, where I could actually change their title but not the base encounter race. I simply labeled them "Mizzrym Slave" to try and justify drow and kobold together. The first prob spot I'm just stuck with for now.…
After spending quite some time on it yesterday evening I've become more convinced that it's a glitch. The kobold encounter I can't remove isn't in my story line at all. I may have had it there (and changed the base encounter) and then deleted it after changing directions a little, but the little buggers still show up. No…
I changed out the whole base encounter. It's one room in particular that's bad about it, and I have scoured the thing, every mob, to see what I might have overlooked. Btw, thank you guys for the polite responses!
Gotta be honest with you, Gropey. They'd lose a whole lot of honest and "law abiding" players if they did a total wipe. Just from my side of the fence every player I run with, all of us 35 years of age + have seriously stated it'd be game over for them if a total wipe occurred. I'd keep playing, but everyone else I run…
Hey Dez, Like many here, and just personally speaking, losing a few levels is no biggy to me. If that's what you guys had to do to fix this then rock on. It makes me giggle and grin like a 7 year old knowing you guys brought the big hairy pwn knuckles down on the offending parties. =D
After 17 tries I give up. Still agree with you Yult. PW is out of control, literally out of control, on the real money prices of services with Neverwinter Online. 10 REAL U.S. for ONE bag? Oh no way....
