You just need more matches under our belt. You need to time your longer animations or lose out. It is that simple. IBS/Flourish/Crescendo being the main skill losses.
You really need to stop pugging. Since module 2, the bigger threat is no longer sent spec. It will just take a few more weeks for the meta to catch up. ;)
As a GWF who fluctuates between 22k and 26k HP I agree. I have to take almost 40% damage for a full unstoppable while Sent build takes maybe 8-12%. Then again those poor sent specs can't hold a candle to my DPS......
Meh, AoW is ok. There are tradeoffs between each set. Most of the time the 2/2 set bonuses out weigh the 4 set bonus. Also comes down to the CWs that like to act like this is a bowling game. How many pins can you send flying!?!?! I digress. AoW beats Fabled.
Learn when to bail yourself. Don't waste 5 minutes waiting around for nothing. Also learn the minimum score needed to earn glory. One last tip.... If your team gets steamrolled in the first 15 seconds and you notice the other team rocking pvp gear and are a premade and you are not?....Bail. Queue again once you have left…
You will only get them in game from a coffer and they are bound. The only coals that will be on the AH in the near future will be from the zen store. Roughly 400k AD.
Notice how you mentioned before bop? Yeah...gearing a toon in just gear has slowed to a crawl. Add in the cost of enchants, mounts, companions...card reader is right this way.
Lol, practice against 15k impact shots or a 30k iceknife! Eventually you will understand that if you want to go up against the best you need some enchants to match. (good luck!) Strategy counts for nothing when you die in 3 seconds or less.

You replying in kind shows little in understanding his point of view. 10 toons. You miss day 7 for what ever reason....you just lost out on 10 coffers. The grind is increasing and the only thing that can affect that is money. Give them enough rope, they will either hang themselves or ease up the grind.

You have been playing with GWFs not built for AOE dps. GF should never out damage a GWF in PVE if the GWF is built for DPS, especially AOE DPS. As far as keeping the team clean in PVE?
