I am not necessarily saying that IS the cause, and Support has not told me that. I am just saying the coincidence has taught me to stay away. I am looking at an empty character screen though wondering if I have the stomach to click Create Character all over again, and not having any of my Founder's stuff.

Yes. Maybe because it was an obvious hack? I don't know. I would stay away from Gateway for a while.

Well I submitted the ticket I guess about 5 hours ago. I rose a little hell in the email about throwing down 100 bucks, but I do not know if that had anything to do with them moving quickly. And I also asked how it happened, but no response.

Update: I just got through sending a series of emails back and forth, and customer support did in fact get my account back to me. However, all my characters are gone, including ZEN. Does not appear they will do anything to get those back.

Well I just got a reply (not the initial submission reply) from my ticket I submitted this morning. Haha, it was funny. An agent looked at it and said, please go in and change your password....blah blah... I will keep at it.

Yea I am calling the billing support line, and they won't leave me on hold. They keep sending me to a message and hanging up. Guessing they are slammed right now, meaning possibly lots of similiar issues.

For those of us that got hacked today, has anyone heard from Customer Service on their ticket? I have not yet.

I do not know if that is entirely accurate. I received the email PINs for adding new computers access, and new browsers (when using the Gateway). I did not receive the same PIN verification when I was hacked at 2 AM this morning.

Well, they closed the thread where people were reporting the issues. Go figure. Oh well, hurry up and wait for Customer Service to "reply".

So you were able to see all your stuff was gone? How did you do that? Did you get back in right before they changed it?

Wow. Yea I have sent in 2 tickets, one from the site and one under this temporary account. Hopefully everyone else out there is sending so they can pick up on the pattern.

Well,hmmm.. Perhaps there is light at the end of the tunnel if many have been hit. That leads me to believe the chance for a rollback of accounts of some sort. Hate to say it, but the selfish side of me hopes more are like us.

Hell, I would take that at this point. I am baffled as to how I got hit. I saw somewhere there was speculation about Founders getting hit, which I am one/was one. I guess the account is gone since all those other folks haven't heard back from PW.
