I had the same problem and so has everyone else in our guild. I tried the FORCE VERIFY option from the launcher and now it is patching like 2G so I will let you know if this fixes the problem. Nevermind . . . now the server is down so apparently it is a problem that they are aware of.

I couldn't agree with you more shamgar4. I was hoping that when they brought out the swordmaster paragon that this would help fill the gap but unfortunately with such low DPS Base that paragon path is completely useless.

I have invested hundreds of hours and hundreds of dollars trying to make a viable DPS hybrid GF and the end result is a 19.5k gear score GF swordmaster who basically plays the role of a 11k GWF. I think that these events are great but I am really hoping that this patch will fix the issue that arose last patch that has left many people including myself unable to play the game without an overwhelming amount of lag and loss of server connection.
