How do you figure there will still be lag with que's? The lag nearly didn't exist when non-vip players had to wait in long lines. I think you are just pulling out some weak argument because you don't want to wait in line.
It does when there is no queue to wait in. If they would bring back queue times and just let the no-payers complain. The lag would be reduced. Its a server capacity issue. Graphic settings has little to do with lag. That is a FPS issue not a Latency one.
While I disagree with how things are. This appears to be the new method. Open Beta's are now something with the cash store this is mostly to help pay for development <I hope> But it feels more like a cash grab. Anyways with the number of failing mmo's out there it not unlikely that its to help pay for development.
Yes. and no it's not my connection I checked my internet speed it's the same as always. It is the servers and it's only a issue during peek hours and weekends. The game has too much server load.
That is what I'm talking about. There is no Queue's and its making the game lag like crazy because the server's can't handle the load. Meaning everyone is getting the same access as me.... But I'm also suffering from lag because of it. The wait times need to come back to fix the lag. Otherwise My exclusive VIP access isn't…
I won't be leaving the game myself. But I can't say I'm happy with the level of service. I paid for VIP access but what I get instead is laggy unplayable servers because they want to put too many people in at once.
People just don't look up the definition of beta test. Once it is commercially used its no longer a beta. Meaning the very second they charge money the beta has ended.
a field test of the beta version of a product (as software) especially by testers outside the company developing it that is conducted prior to commercial release Once you make money....it stops being beta.
On the facebook page they said it has something to do with a hardware failure. After they plug-in the new hardware they should be able to start booting things up.
Raiding would be a great idea. Specially if they decided to allow us to mark encounters as "Bosses" In foundries. Then make the toughness and loot of foundries scale with the number of players in it. There would be unlimited amounts of raid content.
